Its hard to except that the military budget covers sex change operations for example. This woke crap is a disgrace! It's been reported numerous times that a Marine Sniper had the suicide bomber in his sights and asked for permission to engage and engagement was denied. As a former SF Sniper, I can tell you that it's not the shots I took that haunt me. it's the shots that I didn't that affect me today. I can understand what that Marine is going through on a daily basis and hope that he has gotten the help that he needs to cope with the consequences of his forced inaction. There is nothing worse in this life than having to ask oneself. What if, these two words will drive normal people to the limit. Just imagine what it is doing to someone that knows he could have prevented the Abby Gate bombing, and his superiors ordered him to stand down? 13 dead and 35 severely injured is a weight that is not easily shouldered. I pray that the Marine Corps is taking care of this Marine the way he needs to be cared for.

Generals always think they know what is going on. They don't realize that all of their information has been filtered and changed to fit what they want because their subordinates want to keep their jobs. I've seen so much information changed from what we reported to what went in the daily sitrep (situation report) to higher. They might have known that the Afghan Army wouldn't be able to hold Afghanistan if all the reporting wasn't changed to make the Afghans look better.
