I miss my Belgian long-haired. She would always jump into my arms and tell me about her day when I got home from work. BUT I think she was VERY jealous and always competed with my wife. When my wife and I would try to talk when SHE got home from work, the dog would always butt-in and try to "talk" louder. When I took my Belgian (Browni) for walks, if my wife was with me, she would always get between us and push her away. And the kicker was : at night. Browni would wait for my wife to fall asleep, then she would sneak into the bed and strategically place herself between us. Many times she would put her back against mine, she'd place her paws on the wife, and PUSH! her off the bed. Woke up MANY times to her screaming at the dog "Damn-it, Browni!" And the dog would just smirk at her as she wrapped her paws around me like : "Don't make me go." But she was a rescue I adopted without the wife present; that was my mistake. She will forever be in my heart with all the things she used to do.

My greyhound comes to bed and likes to snuggle right up to me. Not so much out of love for me, more so he can get any of the bed I might vacate if I move. It usually ends with him stretching out in luxury, and me balancing on the edge of the bed.

A couple of years after I married my beloved late wife back in the early 1980's, we rescued an abandoned border collie puppy found by one of my clients kids at a state park campsite. She stole both our hearts! We would spend evenings sitting on the couch in the family room in front of the fireplace, my beloved wife stretched out on the couch with her head in my lap for a long scalp rub. Our 4-legged baby would come to me, poke her schnozz under the hand that was rubbing my beloved, try to flip it up to rub HER! Dear Wife WASN'T happy about that! I eventually found a way to position so I could please them both! NEVER, NEVER take your loved ones or your blessings for granted!! The time is truly so short.

Depends what animals. I have pet birds. One of the four doesn't like me. The others will fight anyone who gets near me. It's all about how you raise them. I also have a female dog and if anyone besides me gets near her she growls.

I have a male cat. He was a stray. Me and my brother found him on the streets, he was a little kitten and his mother or siblings were nowhere to be found then and we didn’t have the heart to leave him so we took him home and raised him. My parents also immediately fell in love with him but the problem is- It’s been four years and he still won’t eat when i’m not the one feeding him or cuddle or sleep with anyone else. He follows me around all the time. And every night, he would come to sleep beside me or on my chest. And when I’m not home, (since i have to go to school) he would just sits out on our porch, take a nap or just stares out into the distance. Very adorable though. But I’m going to college soon and it’s in London, ontario so it’s pretty far off from home and i don’t want to leave him just like that. I’ve tried looking for residences and homes that allow pets but still haven’t found anything quite suitable for me.

If you are sitting on the couch with one of our dogs, you are under his protection, even if he just spent several minutes barking at you for being a stranger in the house. He will growl at anyone else who comes near, regardless of how much he loves them. He's a Lhasa Apso that doesn't even really come up to my knee.

I have two things to say. First Animals are generally honed in on who does or doesn't like them. They aren't stupid, trust in your Animals instinct about your partner. These photos show all these Animals feel relaxed and safe. Second, if you can find a partner who is that loving towards Animals, that's a keeper. Many have regretted a bad choice later at the cost of their Animals safety, even lives. One can't help but chuckle all the way through this!👍🏻😄🐾🌈☮️🇨🇦

#4 I know just how it is. I had a dog that would NEVER let any women get close to me. If they tried my female pit had different stages. First, she would give a woman the stink eye like in the #4 pic. If that didn't work then she would get on my lap and give the stink eye again,*she was a pit but she thought she was also a tiny lap dog lol* If that didn't work then she would stand up on my lap and put both her front paws on my shoulders n try to cover as much of me as she could and give the stink eye again. If that didn't work NOW she would start getting pissed n growl. If that didn't work then she would turn the volume up and growl REAL loud and start to bark at any woman. Her last stage is when she would then turn completely in the direction of the woman and growl SUPER LOUD and bark loud as hell n the strip of hair that ran from the back of her head to the tip of her tail would raise up and would NOT stop barking SUPER LOUD till the woman backed away from me. At this point, if a woman tried to touch me she would then take her paw n start like slapping the woman's hands off of me or GENTLY grab the woman's hand in her mouth and pull it off of me and then cover the spot her hand was on and lay her head on where she touched me so that the woman couldnt put her hand back in the same place. Yea n to a person that didnt know her would think she was aggressive and would REALLY bite them. Which she would NEVER bite anyone unless I told her to. In which case you would lose your fucking hand lol She ALWAYS protected me from anyone and even MORE so with any woman that wasnt her lmao. I was the ONLY one she acted l ike that towards. She did NOT like ANY WOMAN BY ME EVER!!! lmao!! It was always funny as hell when I would see her doing this. It was like damn my dog was SUPER protective of me. Oh and GOD FUCK SAVE YOU IF YOU HIT ME FOR REAL!!! There was this crazy chick that me and my group of friends knew and she I guess was crazy as all hell. N one day she heard me talking bout how my pup would do that and guess she didnt believe me. And I told this woman MANY times about that NO ONE can EVER hit me cuz she would bite whoever hit me. This dumbass chick didnt believe it and punched me as hard as she could. N here comes my pup FLYING of the couch and just chomped down on her WHOLE hand. Thats when you heard the crunching noise. My pup crushed a bunch of bones in the chicks hand. Which EVERYONE and me yelled at the chick like WTF WOULD YOU DO THAT?!?! YOU HAVE ALWAYS BEEN TOLD TO NEVER DO THAT NO MATTER WHAT AND EVEN MORE SO WITH MY PUP AROUND!! Well she had crushed 4 fingers and the bones that run from your first knuckles to your wrist and the wrist itself. N her stupid ass remark was I just wanted to see for myself. Stupid huh?? Yea lets just test my hand getting crushed. N no nothing happened to my pup as she was NOT in the wrong, The woman was and even said so herself. Plus had she tried to pull something to sue me or have my pup put down, the security cam my friend always had running in his house recorded it ALL WITH SOUND. So you could hear that she knew not to do that and tried it anyways AND when she said she wanted to test it was recorded so nothing could be done. And NO my pup was NOT an aggresive dog AT ALL!! She would even let lil kids jump on her to play horsy and wouldnt mind if they bit her ears or tail or pulled on them or ANYTHING!! And my pup also knew to walk slowly and carefully when the kids were in the house as to not hurt them. My pup meant the world to me, I love her SO MUCH that EVERYONE that knew me knew I seen her as my daughter and loved her like crazy and that she loved me back even more. A lil to much at times to lol Cuz when she was in heat and I would pet her head she would curl her tail up n to the side thinking I was I guess gonna mount her lmao Funniest shit you ever seen. And great now thinking n talking about her made me get dirty in both my eyes :(

I'm going to tell you about my dog but we have to start from the beginning. She a mutt mom was a German shepherd and the dad we don't know. The mom was our dog we'd take care of her and feed her but that was the last pack she had. She stop eating then she died. The mutt (butter is her name) was the last survivor of the pack the others were given away or died. We give butter food we didn't eat but we didn't claim her. She protected us and the house car she didn't know she would bark up a storm. If a dog she didn't like came near me or my brother she growling and might attack if they didn't leave. We moved a few months ago but didn't take her with us.she would let everyone of us pet her except my dad. He really big it wasn't that she didn't like him but he just big. When we moved we had to get a guard dog to watch the house we all knew the answer was butter. Butter 7 in human years btw. She would bark if any one came near us so butter would be perfect. We went back to the old house one day but not for her we were suppose to get her the week after but things changed. For the first time ever she let my dad pet her so she missed us already. When we were driving back she ran after us she didn't want to risk the chance of never seeing us again but if she ran she would over heat and die so my dad had to lose her and turn the corner she ran faster then ever right next to the car but them she fell behind. My mom said we have to get her but she had to shower over there since she had 7 years of dirt flees and grim when we went back her face lit up and the water was the color of her fur when she showered. Man she slipped out of her collar and went to our door all happy then sat down right in front like how she used to do before. Now she's in our back yard happier then ever

A year and a half ago, my wife finally convinced me after 25 years to get her a dog (for her birthday). So, we get Riley, a Pit mix, and she's just the sweetest little dog you'll ever find. So, who does the girlfriend love the best? You betcha! I could post a hundred shots of her snugglin' with her Daddy. It's funny, I never thought of my wife as a "side beeyotch" before. And how frustrating it must be for my wife! Years ago, we adopted 2 brother feral cats from our friends in SC, and shortly thereafter another boy feral cat from a state park near us. There was a regular "SlothFest" on the bed with all us men. No gurlz allowed! Until the day he died, the one brother, Mario, was practically glued to my side. Since becoming the last survivor, Cody (the PA cat) walks me to bed every evening, complete with "kissing stops" every few steps up the stairs. The crazy thing is: I've never been a cat man!
