Man I felt for Jimmy so much in these few seasons. He can see all the stress, pain and problems Frank brings to Fiona who he loves and would do anything for, but he can't do anything because Fiona still loves Frank. The bond between Frank and Fiona is unconditional, which Jimmy likely never had.

He didn't screw up anything for her. He took care of the kids and her he was a great character when the show lost him they lost a whole other side of the show.

are you kidding me? jimmy was a car thief, taught the kids to steal cars, he was involved with the mob, lied about his identity, etc. or should i say steve or jack? fiona knew this. they brought his character back a few times. that's enough.

Yeah he taught the kids to steal because he knew their situation and neighborhood. He used the money he got from stealing to support Fiona and the family. Got Carl braces, took care of Lip, took care of all the kids. When he was kidnapped in season 3 he left all the money to Fiona. and yeah he's not perfect but that's why the show is called shameless, Fiona isn't perfect season 4 she was terrible and she's been a whore since he left the show. Also in the UK version they get married and leave the show together.

not that fiona is blameless. she wanted the pos more when she knew he was a car thief and took him back and then went to jail and so on. but that guy was nothing but trouble from the start. a thief is a thief and it doesn't matter what they do with the money.

I honestly thought that she would tell on Frank of what he was doing, which would be the normal thing to do though...nothing. I suppose the writers thought it would be more suspenseful and keep viewers interested to leave it be and allow things to flow naturally and let Fiona and company learn of what Frank did on there own, so the revenge would be that much sweeter.

Shameless is getting better with each episode. 3 Episodes left, it should be interesting to see what the leave the season off with. Also, Frank has always been selfish and greedy, though I don't think he has ever been this despicable before. I mean, it's true that he did the heartless thing and screw a ill woman out getting a heart transplant just so he could cash in on the money, which is cold. However, this takes it to a whole new level with Child Protective Services

She can’t because Frank is the parent, so therefore has the parental rights. In order for her to get them back herself, she had to prove incompetence and neglect from both parents and/or Frank had to revoke his parental rights to her. You would think that proving incompetence and neglect would be easy for a parent who’s a drunk and druggie, but the state requires SO MUCH before a child can actually be taken out of the hands of their parents. Frank was too proud to give up his parental rights to the kids though he didn’t bother taking care of them, and Monica was gone but she probably wound have given them up I believe
