MAJORITY of people would struggle severely with that. i’m in no way condoning fiona’s actions. i’m only stating that this is realistically an extremely painful and difficult thing to take responsibility for. that’s exactly why lip eventually tells her that it wasn’t fair of him to just not be there for her, especially when she’s always there for them.

I relate so much to shameless, I’m from Chicago and grew up around nothing but drunks and addicts. I hate that people constantly make it a point that Fiona does everything for the kids and family and now lip knows how it feels, that’s not the point. They started getting in the act in the kitchen counter and then went quiet when Mike walked in the hallway, but he was so drunk that he blacked out in his bed.
