Peace be unto you... She can not leave from where she is and she is technically not in Syria... No one can be happy in a military internment camp where she is... She is not brainwashed and was manipulated with lies just to get her over to Syria... She has learned her lesson and should be given an opportunity for re-education like what they are doing in Xinjiang, China... What is she supposed to have remorse for? What has she done or what actual crimes has she committed? One can only be guilty for what they have personally done and should not be held responsible for what others have committed... Once she was there she found herself in a situation with no control and adult women, who were already indoctrinated with extremist far-right Wahhabi/Salafi Khwaraj ideology of Islam, took control of her and the belongings she brought with her... She said that she did not know what she was getting herself into... She was lied to by recruits who were indoctrinated and found vulnerable girls to enslave... She is living in an internment camp with 100's of mentally disturbed women and some of them are serial killers; she has been left stateless, which is a violation of the UN Human Rights Council... Her 3 children have died from unknown diseases and being left untreated; without medical care is inhumane... These internment camps are inhumane and there should be better housing made for them instead of these tents; it has been years since they have been in these internment camps... Where is your logical compassion and where is your empathy or at least sympathy? She is not Bangladeshi and they have refused her an application to enter that country; she was born in the UK and poses no security risk at all... Bangladesh is a secular state with Islam as their state religion; there laws and rules are different from Islamic countries with Islamic Shari'a... What is she supposed to have remorse for?.... perhaps she might say it was shocking to see heads in bins, or that the Manchester atrocity was not justified as retaliation, or perhaps for joining a murderous group knowingly, as she did at 15, and staying with them till the end , age 19, perhaps for breeding in a war zone and losing the 3 children, for which she and her "husband" are responsible, perhaps she, not the others all the time, should have more mercy in her heart and sympathy for the pain she caused.

It implies the right of each individual to acquire, change and retain a nationality. International law provides that the right of States to decide who their nationals are is not absolute and, in particular, States must comply with their human rights obligations concerning the granting and loss of nationality. If a person does not have a nationality, it may be impossible for them to go to school, see a doctor, get a job, open a bank account, or even get married. Millions of people around the world are in this situation; they are 'stateless'. A stateless person is ‘a person who is not considered as a national by any State under the operation of its law.’ The exact number of stateless people is not known, but the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) estimates that there are at least 12 million globally. In addition to violations of their right to a nationality, stateless persons are often subject to many other human rights violations. They may have difficulty accessing basic rights such as education, healthcare, employment and freedom of movement. States shall introduce safeguards to prevent statelessness by granting their nationality to persons who would otherwise be stateless and are either born in their territory or are born abroad to one of their nationals. States shall also prevent statelessness upon loss or deprivation of nationality." It's about justice and fairness within the judiciary system and it's about citizenship/birth rights... It should not be about emotionally-based mentalities, which make up judicial decisions to appease public opinions that are also emotionally-based and illogical; judicial review and actions should be based upon credible sources of information that pertain to the individual and not what transpired outside of the individual... I have no issue with her not being allowed back into the UK. What I have an issue with is the fact that this was allowed to happen because both her parents were born in Bangladesh. According to international law you can't make someone stateless. Sajid Javid's response to this is that she meets the criteria for Bangladeshi citizenship. 1) so if she was born to native British parents would the decision to strip her citizenship be different? 2) Why should Bangladesh get involved in this mess?

When not being interviewed she can be observed swanning around the camp in western attire with her long hair flowing in the wind only scarving up and seeming all meek and mild when there is a news camera in her face.

Peace be unto you... Her consequences have been paid 4 times over with her children dying and living in such desolate, horrible conditions for years... This action sets a precedent for future cases of anyone who decides to become a terrorist, it's unfortunate in this case this woman persuaded 2 other girls in her crime and I believe one of the girls sadly died as a result. Obviously her choice has had dire consequences for herself and her poor innocent children who all perished, but still after she had one child sadly pass away she stayed. Everybody knows the caliphate is no picnic it's a war and so her stating, " I had no idea before I left the uk, what I was getting into", holds little ground to me! Even if she had no idea of what she was getting into, she had opportunities to leave, she was not in prison she said in Syria before the terrorists got apprehended and detained in the camps. I feel it's really sad that she wanted to go and throw her life away, I feel sad for the loss of her children, the innocent one's! I feel sad for the needless people who died as a consequence of the choices she made and the hand she took in the crimes and conspiracy to take lives. I feel sad for her family who wanted only the best for her and this is what she gave them in return and undoubtedly the struggles they may have faced. But most of all I feel sad that a ideology could have the means to indoctrinate and coerce a mind towards a idea that there will be any reward in this life or the next for murder! What took place 1400 years ago was then and this is now! Here is a time of plenty, then was a time of struggle and barbarism, reformation has to come to stop the wars, it has to come soon and it can only come from the people who support the faith. It's heart breaking that people feel there is honour in murder and death. For a cause that has no place in the present day. Do you not have more than you need already, more than people had 1400 yrs ago? It's absolutely horrific how choices can ruin lives but as much as I feel sorrow for this young woman I can never feel sympathetic to her cause. What's more the crimes took place abroad, and she should be held accountable for the crimes that took place there.

Also before advocating such places like re- education centres you may like to research what happens to thoes poor Muslim people inside thoese camps. It's nothing short of barbaric, rapes and murders, forced sterilisation for woman, torture, children are literally taken in to boarding schools and educated the Chinese communist way! The patents forced in to factory work and locked down in strictly run unit's under cctv surveillance 24/7. @@Kellyjellycones78 Peace... It is important to study further about the re-education centers in Xinjiang, China... I would have shared some videos or articles about what is actually happening in that region, but Alphabet Inc/Google/KZbin has been blocking my posts and won't even allow for me to share these KZbin videos; restriction of free speech... I will share an article about the falsified document by Adrian Zenz (an extremist religious fundamentalist)... thegrayzone.com/2021/02/18/us-media-reports-chinese-genocide-relied-on-fraudulent-far-right-researcher/ It completely debunks the forced sterilization and genocidal propaganda... The problem in Xinjiang was that the extremist Sunni Wahhabi/Salafi ideation of Islam infiltrated the communities and there have been numerous terrorist attacks all over the country for decades, which lead to the only option in building these re-education centers, for which, Uyghurs only stay for 2 years and never longer than 4 years... They are educated to learn the spoken language of China (helping them to obtain many different types of occupations), they are studying history, culture, math, science, literature like a regular school, which the Islamic schools were not teaching required learning subjects... They are also learning a trade and their experience is helping in the cost of their living; do corporations and businesses exploit people? All over the world there are corporations and businesses that exploit people and take advantage of many situations that benefit their own needs... Unfortunately with so many people living in restricted areas there will be abuses and it is an unfortunate reality that these rapes are happening by mentally deranged individuals... This could even happen if they were not in those re-education centers and since most women would not even admit that they were raped; we will never know the actual statistics for these crimes in Xinjiang, China... same case happened in Indonesia while ago, hundreds of Indonesian that have left the country to join Isis were refused to be allowed to coming back to the country by the president himself. They were even showing in a video where they burnt the passport as if they're declaring that they're no longer associate themselves with the country. there are too some exceptions that happened to be where they're trapped by someone, unknowing that they're about to join Isis and hence there was also controversy going on. but quite frankly the government couldn't risk the country's security and safety because they're no pragmatic ways to filter which one is categorised as exception and just fairly applied the basic principle that they took small sacrifice for a greater good

Peace be unto you... Syrian Government has refused the case since it was technically not in Syria and the responsibility lies on UK and America... She can not leave from where she is and she is technically not in Syria... No one can be happy in a military internment camp where she is... She is not brainwashed and was manipulated with lies just to get her over to Syria... Once she was there she found herself in a situation with no control and adult women, who were already indoctrinated with extremist far-right Wahhabi/Salafi Khwaraj ideology of Islam, took control of her and the belongings she brought with her, for which, her passport was confiscated and destroyed... She is living in an internment camp with 100's of mentally disturbed women and some of them are serial killers; she has been left stateless, which is a violation of the UN Human Rights Council... Her 3 children have died from unknown diseases and being left untreated; without medical care is inhumane... Where is your logical compassion and where is your empathy or at least sympathy? @Barry Wall the people who left to Syria, most of them had no intention of coming back, as they've now joined an entity which is hostile towards the west. Pretty much common sense. Imagine in WW2 if someone went to join the ranks of Nazi Germany or Japan and then tried to come back. I'm Muslim myself and I don't support her coming back. And whoever is making a case for her return is being stupid. Plane and simple.

It’s difficult to write something here knowing that you can be called stupid or not seeing the bigger picture. Which I guess is true however what’s more stupid is that this girl was groomed & peer pressured into going into Syria. All three left 2 died and 1 didn’t. It’s a fact that she does accept her responsibility for travelling & going along with a fairy tale dream of happiness which turned into a massive nightmare. I believe if we as a society can’t even hold our intelligence agencies for the failure to stop terrorist on domestic soil who have committed heinous crimes compared to someone travelling to Syria then she does have a right to fight her case in the UK. At 15 she left she & her friends we groomed before that age and were manipulated. If the British government was complicit in the illegal war in Iraq & Afghanistan which gave rise ISIS then the establishment is guilty as she is !

Mary did indeed appear to be wearing a Hijab. Christian women are instructed to cover their head. Corinthians 11:6 "For if a woman does not cover her head, she might as well have her hair cut off; but if it is a disgrace for a woman to have her hair cut off or her head shaved, then she should cover her head". If the virgin Mary appears wearing a veil on all of her pictures, how can you ask me to sign on a Hijab ban law? (Roberto Maroni)... "Christian:Why do you wear Hijab? Muslim:Because Mary, the mother of Jesus, is my role model" Beard=he's a terrorist? Wearing a scarf=she's oppressed? Jesus had a beard, was he a terrorist? Mary wore a scarf? was she oppressed? My Hijab allows me to limit what parts of my body people can see, its a statement of my freedom. My body is not for anyone's consumption, and using my Hijab I can enforce that. Please do not tell me my hijab limits my freedom. "My Hijab is my dignity, my respect and my honour and i will never ever trade it for this temporary world" "Muslim women are not forced to wear Hijab. They choose to do that and you can make sure by asking any muslim woman." "If a women is free to show her body, why shouldn't she be free to cover it?!!" “The sun doesn’t lose its beauty when covered by the clouds. The same way your beauty doesn’t fade when being covered by Hijab” "HIJAB is my identity ,my choice ,my right,my freedom ,and my beauty." "We are beautiful. Wrapped up perfectly. Never ever doubt your hijab. It is your symbol, your love, your covering." Muslims women are only covered when they are out or when around men that are not related. Other than that they don't cover at there homes or infront of there father grandfather brother nephews husband little kids women... So were not always covered ... "Hijab is a symbol of modesty it includes the way a person walk, talks, looks and thinks, All of it should be done modestly and applies to both Men and Women. and its to protect yourself from evil eye. Islam is not only a religion but it is also a way of life and Hijab is a part of it." "“I don’t care what others say i wear my Hijab for the sake of ALLAH (Subanahu wa ta’ala)”" "It is not the cloth that oppresses the women, it is the illiterate mind.” Remember this before you decide to act all islamophobic and decide to go al dramatic around a headscarf. Your nuns wear it, virgin mary wore it. You have no reason at all to make a fuss out of it. Its funny how you are okay with "love wins" and doing all disgusting kinds of filth with the same gender, its funny how you are okay with your little girl losing her virginity at the age of 17, its funny how you are okay with the clubs and bars being full all night. But you fear a HEADSCARF. A. HARMLESS. HEADSCARF. Seriously where are your brains people. In Chapter 24 known as an-Nur (the Light), in verse 30, Allah commands Prophet Muhammad as follows: “Say to the believing men that: they should cast down their glances and guard their private parts (by being chaste). This is better for them.” This is a command to Muslim men that they should not lustfully look at women (other than their own wives); and in order to prevent any possibility of temptation, they are required to cast their glances downwards. This is known as “hijab of the eyes”. Then in the next verse, Allah commands the Prophet to address the women: “Say to the believing women that: they should cast down their glances and guard their private parts (by being chaste)…” This is a similar command as given to the men in the previous verse regarding “hijab of the eyes”. This hijab of eyes is similar to the teaching of Jesus where he says, “You have heard that it was said by them of old time, you shall not commit adultery. But I say unto you, That whosoever looks on a woman to lust after her has committed adultery with her already in his heart.” So if you see a Muslim casting his/her eyes downwards when he/she is talking to a member of opposite sex, this should not be considered as rude or an indication of lack of confidence - he/she is just abiding by the Qur’anic as well as Biblical teaching. After “hijab of the eyes” came the order describing the dress code for women: “...and not display their beauty except what is apparent, and they should place their khumur over their bosoms...” Sister you have chosen the right choice, which Allah will never forget to reward you in this World and herafter. In sch Allah. This World is meaningless. May Allah give you ease and Sabr. Search about the truth Islam in this blog: amrshabi.blogspot.com/?m=1

Islam The Beautiful Religion ( Be Just ) Quran 5:8 '' O you who believe! stand out firmly for God, as witnesses to fair dealing, and let not the > HATRED OF OTHERS TO YOU < make you swerve to wrong and depart from justice. Be just: that is next to piety: and fear God. For God is well-acquainted with all that ye do. '' Quran 4:58 '' Indeed, God commands you to render trusts to whom they are due and when you judge between people to judge with justice. Excellent is that which God instructs you. Indeed, God is ever Hearing and Seeing.'' ( God's The Rules Of War ) Quran 2:190 '' Fight in the way of God > THOSE WHO FIGHT YOU < but do not transgress. Indeed. God does not like transgressors. '' Quran 2 :193 '' And fight them on until there is no more oppression, and there prevail justice and faith in God; but if they cease, Let there be no hostility except to those who practice oppression. '' Quran 4:90 ''.........So if they withdraw from you and cease their hostility and offer you peace, in that case Allah has not granted you permission to fight against them.'' Quran 8:61 ''And if they seek peace, then you also seek it, and put your trust in God. He is the Hearer, the Knowledgeable.'' ( Stand Up For Justice ) Quran 4 :135 '' Ye who believe! stand out firmly for justice, as witnesses to God, even as against > YOURSELVES < or your parents, or your kin, and whether it be (against) rich or poor: for God can best protect both. Follow not the lusts (of your hearts), lest ye swerve, and if ye distort (justice) or decline to do justice, verily God is well-acquainted with all that ye do.'' ( Who Are The Good Human Beings? ) Quran 2.177 '' Righteousness is "NOT" that you turn your faces ( in worship ) toward the east or the west but [true] righteousness is [in] one who believes in God, the Last Day, the angels, the Book, and the prophets and gives wealth,> IN SPITE OF LOVE FOR IT,< to relatives, orphans, the needy, the traveler, those who ask [for help], and for > freeing slaves < [and who] establishes prayer and gives charity; [those who] fulfill their promise when they promise; and [those who] are patient in poverty and hardship and during battle. Those are the ones who have been true, and it is those who are the righteous. '' ( Freedom To Believe And To Reject ) Quran 2:256 '' Let there be no compulsion in religion. Truth stands out clear from error '' Quran 10:99 '' And had your Lord willed, those on earth would have believed > all of them entirely < Then would you compel the people in order that they become believers? '' ( Tolerance For Other Religions ) Quran 109: 1- 6 Say,"O disbelievers, I do not worship what you worship. Nor are you worshipers of what I worship. Nor will I be a worshiper of what you worship. Nor will you be worshipers of what I worship. For you is your religion, and for me is my religion." ( Protection for Idol Worshiper ) Quran 9:6 "And if any one of the polytheists seeks your protection, then grant him protection so that he may hear the words of Allah. Then deliver him to his place of safety. That is because they are people who do not know. " Quran16:125 “Call people to the way of your Lord with wisdom and good teaching, and argue with them in the most courteous way” Quran7:199 “Be tolerant....” ( Friendship With Non Muslims ) Quran 60:8 '' God does not forbid you from those who do not fight you because of religion and do not expel you from your homes - from being righteous toward them and acting justly toward them. Indeed, God loves those who act justly. '' ( Do Christians And Jews and "OTHER" non-Muslims go to Heaven? ) Quran 2:62 '' Those who believe (in the Qur'an), and those who follow the Jewish (scriptures), and the Christians and the Sabians,-> ANY { On Judgement Day } ( According to the Quran Christians and Jews worship TRUE God ) (Quran 3:113-114) '' Not all of them are alike: Of the People of the Book ( Christians and Jews ) are a portion that stand (For the right): They rehearse the Signs of God all night long, and they prostrate themselves in adoration. They believe in God and the Last Day; they enjoin what is right, and forbid what is wrong; and they hasten (in emulation) in (all) good works: They are in the ranks of the righteous.'' Note: According to the Quran that Jesus is not God nevertheless Christians still worship one '' TRUE '' God. ( > Allah < Is The Protector Of Monasteries, Churches, Synagogues And The Mosques ) Quran 22:40 [They are] those who have been evicted from their homes without right - only because they say, "Our Lord is Allah ." And were it not that Allah checks the people, some by means of others, there would have been demolished monasteries, churches, synagogues, and mosques in which the name of Allah is much mentioned. And Allah will surely support those who support Him. Indeed, Allah is Powerful and Exalted in Might. ( Why Are There So Many Different Religions In The World ? ) Quran 5 48 ''...... If God wanted He could have made all of you a > single nation < But He willed otherwise in order to test you in what He has given you;(scriptures) therefore try to excel one another in good deeds. Ultimately you all shall return to God; then He will show you the truth of those matters in which you > DISPUTE submission < to God), never will it be accepted of him; and in the Hereafter He will be in the ranks of those who have lost (Salvation)'' My explanation of above verse Islam mean > submission < to God ( The above verse saying is that God will not accept a religion from the > MUSLIM < and the Non-Muslims but total > submission < to God.) Question: How Can Muslim And the > Non-Muslim < > submit < to the God? Answer: Be kind to other human beings and Do not lie, Do not steal, Do not cheat, Do not hurt others, Do not be prideful and Do the charity work. ( God Allow Muslims To Marry And Eat Food From the Christian And Jew And Vice Versa ) Quran 5;5 ''This day [all] good foods have been made lawful, and the food of those who were given the Scripture ( Christian and Jew) is lawful for you and your food is lawful for them. '' ( All The Terrorists / Killers Will Enter Hell Fire ) Quran 5:32 "......Whoever kills a soul unless for a soul or for corruption [done] in the land - it is as if he had slain mankind entirely......" ( Turned Your Enemies Into Your Awesome Friends ) Quran 41:34 "The good deed and the evil deed are not alike. Repel the evil deed with one which is better, then lo! he, between whom and thee there was enmity (will become) as though he was a bosom friend." ( The Husband and The Wife Are > Protecting Friends < One Of Another ) Quran 9:71 ''And the believers, men and women, are > Protecting Friends < one of another; they enjoin the right and forbid the wrong, and they establish worship and they pay the poor-due, and they obey God and His messenger. As for these, God will have mercy on them. Lo! God is Mighty, Wise.'' Quran16:97 “To whoever, male or female, does good deeds and has faith, We shall give a good life and reward them according to the best of their actions. Quran 30:21 “And of His signs is that He created for you from yourselves mates that you may find tranquility in them; and He placed between you > affection and mercy { Love } The Prophet Muhammad said, “The best among you is the best to his wife” ( Human Are One Big family ) Quran 49:13 " O mankind! ( All The Racist People Will Enter Hellfire ) Quran 30:22 "And of His signs is the creation of the heavens and the earth and the diversity of your languages and your colors. Indeed in that are signs for those of knowledge." My conclusion: The > BASIC < message of God to the human is that '' YOU '' believe in God and be kind to other human beings / > animals < and in the > RETURNED < God will > REWARD < you with a new life in Paradise. * The Quran ONLY guides you how to become a good human being "Nothing Else". * You are a good human being or a bad human being that is YOUR choice. * No one can force you to become a good human being. * You MUST work HARD to become a good human being. * Why should ''YOU'' do good deeds and avoid bad deeds? * Do Good - it's for You. Do Bad - It's against you. * '' YOUR'' life is a TEST from God that you will choose to do either Good or Bad. * Find the excuse to help others and forgive others NOT the other way around. * '' YOUR '' final destination is either Hell or Heaven. * So work HARD toward choice of YOUR destination. Quran 17:7 '' If you do good, you will do so for your own good. And if you do evil, it will be to your own loss.'',

Sad it is to see Muslims bashing this sister for a mistake she d naively did aged 15... Islam is about we listen and we obey before following emotions and desires. ALLAAH tells us: Let them pardon and forgive. Do you not love that Allah should forgive you? And Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful. ~ Quran 24:22 A kind word and forgiveness is better than charity followed by hurt ~ Quran 2:263 Adopt forgiveness, instruct what is right, and ignore the foolish. ~ Quran 7:199 The believers are brothers. So make reconciliation between your brothers and fear Allah, that you may receive mercy. ~ Quran 49:10 Quran 64:14 says, "O you who believe! Verily, among your spouses and your children there are enemies for you, therefore beware of them! But if you pardon (them) and overlook, and forgive (their faults), then verily, Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful. At the end of the day the worst crime ones can commit which will not be forgiven is to die upon disbelief... apart from that ALLAAH will forgive whatever HE wants to whomever HE will.

Peace… Upon this term "jihadists"; a Western innovation to further vilify Muslims and Islam in 2 parts... I will share with you quotes from scholars who have studied information from scholars... By Renovatio The Journal of Zaytuna College and Asma Afsaruddin "article/orientalist militants and the meanings of jihad" Link blocked by KZbin… "It is commonly assumed in the West that jihad refers exclusively to aggression, and that assumption should not come as a surprise: militant Muslim groups use the word to describe violence in the name of Islam, and Western media, policymakers, and opinion leaders dutifully call such violent extremists “jihadists.” In an influential essay, the Orientalist scholar Emile Tyan asserts that “the fight (jihād) is obligatory even when they (the unbelievers) have not themselves started it.” Similarly, the radical twentieth-century Islamist ideologue Sayyid Qutb maintains that the objective of Islam is to win over all humanity to the worship of the one God; whoever resists this hegemonic mission of Islam, as conceived by Qutb, must be ruthlessly fought until death or capitulation. The Arabic word jihād means struggle, exertion, or effort, and the frequently encountered Arabic phrase al-jihād fī sabīl Allāh means “struggling/striving in the path of God.” The Qur’an employs a separate word for combat: qitāl. In the Qur’an, fighting is a conditional response to aggression and is only one aspect of human striving in the path of God. Verses that exhort Muslims to fight their enemies must be interpreted carefully and contextually. In spite of what hawkish commentators and Muslim militants claim, the verses do not provide a carte blanche for Muslims to attack non-Muslims. Furthermore, throughout the Qur’an, jihad’s nonviolent aspects are encapsulated in the term śabr, or patient forbearance, to connote individual striving to fulfill God’s commandments in all aspects of life. According to the Qur’an, early Muslims were prohibited from fighting during the Meccan period (before 622 CE), even as they endured harsh persecution by pagan Arabs for embracing Islam. Their jihad, or struggle, during this period was nonviolent. A verse revealed in Mecca states, “Do not obey the unbelievers and strive against them mightily with it (wa jāhidhum bihi jihādan kabīran)” (Qur’an 25:52). This situation changed within two years after the hijrah (migration) to Medina by the Prophet Muĥammad ﷺ and his followers in 622 CE. According to the classical exegesis, the first verses to permit Muslims to fight their Meccan enemies in response to violent persecution were revealed in the Medinan period. These verses state: Permission is given to those against whom fighting has been initiated (yuqātalūna) because they have been wronged/oppressed, and God is able to help them. These are they who have been wrongfully expelled from their homes merely for saying “God is our Lord.” If God had not restrained some people by means of others, monasteries, churches, synagogues, and mosques in which God’s name is mentioned frequently would have been destroyed. Indeed God comes to the aid of those who come to His aid; indeed He is powerful and mighty. ~~~ (Qur’an 22:39-40) Here, Muslims who have been driven from their homes and subjected to abuse and torture for asserting the oneness of God are granted permission to fight in self-defense. These verses also suggest that Muslims may fight to prevent the destruction of monasteries, churches, and synagogues, in addition to mosques (Qur’an 22:40). This was the understanding of Muqātil b. Sulaymān (d. 150/767), who explicitly stated that God defends all these places of worship through the efforts of Muslims.(5) Al-Zamakhsharī (d. 538/1144) understands this verse as referring to the Arab polytheists of the Prophet Muĥammad’s era, who would have triumphed over the Muslims and the People of the Book “in their protection” (fī dhimmatihim) and destroyed their houses of worship if Muslims had not resorted to military jihad.(6) ~~~(5) Muqātil b. Sulaymān, Tafsīr Muqātil ibn Sulaymān, ed. ʿAbd Allāh Maḥmūd Shiḥātah (Beirut: Muʾassasat al-Tārīkh al-ʿArabī, 2002), 3:129-30 ~~~(6) Al-Zamakhsharī, al-Kashshāf ʿan ḥaqā’iq ghawāmiḍ al-tanzīl wa ʿuyūn al-aqāwīl fī wujūh al-taʾwīl, ed. ʿĀdil Aḥmad ʿAbd al-Mawjūd and ʿAlī Muḥammad Muʿawwaḍ (Riyadh: Maktabat al-ʿUbaykān, 1998), 4:199 Four additional verses (Qur’an 2:190-4) contain important injunctions for carrying out legitimate armed combat and are the foundation for classical jurisprudence about the ethics of war and peace.(7) A Medinan verse unambiguously states that Muslims can fight only in response to aggression: “Fight in the way of God those who fight you and do not commit aggression” (Qur’an 2:190). The exegetes agree that these verses refer to the events at al-Ĥudaybiyyah in 8AH/628CE. Muslims who were previously forbidden to fight during the pre-Islamic sacred months were now granted divine permission to defend themselves in the precincts of the Kaaba, in the event of an attack by pagan Meccans. Early exegetes understood the interdiction in this verse (Qur’an 2:190) against committing aggression as a clear and general prohibition against initiating hostilities, under any circumstance. The early exegete Mujāhid b. Jabr (d. 104/722) asserts that this verse explicitly forbids Muslims from ever initiating aggression against anyone, including wrongdoers/oppressors (al-żālimīn), in any place, sacred or profane.(8) On the basis of this verse, al-Zamakhsharī in the fourth/tenth century(9) and al-Rāzī (d. 606/1210)(10) also maintains that Muslims may never initiate aggression. ~~~(7) For example, al-Māwardī, al-Ḥāwī al-Kabīr, ed. ʿAlī Muḥammad Muʿawwaḍ and ʿĀdil Aḥmad ʿAbd al-Mawjūd (Beirut: Dār al-Kutub al-ʿArabiyyah, 1994), 14:102 ff ~~~(8) Mujāhid b. Jabr, Tafsīr Mujāhid, ed. Abū Muḥammad al-Asyūṭī (Beirut: Dār al-Kutub al-ʿIlmiyyah, 2005), 23 ~~~(9) Al-Zamakhsharī, Kashshāf, 1:395-95 ~~~(10) Al-Rāzī, al-Tafsīr al-Kabīr (Beirut: Dār Iḥyā’ al-Turāth al-‘Arabī, 1999), 2:288" To be continued… With Peace and Divine Loving Consciousness Sakinah

Peace… Furthermore, on this term "jihadists"; a Western innovation to further vilify Muslims and Islam... I will share with you quotes from scholars who have studied information from scholars... By Renovatio The Journal of Zaytuna College and Asma Afsaruddin "article/orientalist militants and the meanings of jihad" Link blocked by KZbin… "Those who argue that the concept of jihad as an inner struggle is a recent, extra-Qur’anic development fail to recognize that cultivating the attribute of śabr (patient forbearance) is a constant feature of jihad in the Qur’an. This oversight is compounded when Western scholars disproportionately focus on juridical literature relating to combative jihad as a state-sanctioned duty within the context of military security and international relations. If we also consider premodern Muslim exegetical literature, we find that śabr is extolled in these sources as an essential aspect of human striving, as emphasized in the Qur’an. One particular Meccan verse is often invoked to establish the importance of śabr as a constant feature of human striving in the face of life’s vicissitudes. This verse states, “O those who believe, be patient and forbearing (iśbirū), outdo others in forbearance (śābirū), be firm (rābiţū), and revere God so that you may succeed” (Qur’an 3:200). Early exegetes from the first three centuries of Islam (e.g., Mujāhid b. Jabr and Muqātil b. Sulaymān) uniformly emphasize śabr and its derivatives as referring to patient forbearance in the carrying out of religious duties such as prayer, particularly in the face of ill-treatment by others.(16) In his commentary, the late sixth/twelfth century exegete al-Rāzī states that the first imperative in this verse, iśbirū, has to do with the individual, while the second imperative, śābirū, deals with interactions between the individual and others. He also notes that the term muśābarah (related to the command śābirū in Qur’an 3:200) has to do broadly with commanding good and preventing harm, which is a fundamental moral imperative in Islam.(17) ~~~(16) Their views are extensively discussed in Afsaruddin, Striving, esp.179-204 ~~~(17) Al-Rāzī, Tafsīr, 3:473 The struggle to cultivate the Qur’anic virtue of śabr is referred to as jihād al-nafs in typologies of jihad based upon the many prophetic narrations that refer to "fighting" (mujāhadah) one's ego (nafs). In a weak Hadith that Imam al-Bayĥaqī relates, the Prophet ﷺ is reported to have referred to fighting one's desires as "the greater jihad."* The Qur’anic qitāl, meaning "fighting" is later termed jihād al-sayf to distinguish it from the greater jihad of the nafs. The scholars al-Ghazālī (d. 505/1111), an Ash‘arī theologian of a mystical bent, and Ibn al-Qayyim al-Jawziyyah (d. 751/1350), a Ĥanbalī jurist, wrote treatises praising the cultivation and practice of patient forbearance (śabr) as the best expression of jihad, and as an indispensable trait for resisting the incitements of the lower self (al-nafs al-ammārah).(18) So while it is correct to state that the terms jihād al-nafs and jihād al-sayf are late coinages, the concepts they embody date back to the earliest Islamic period and correspond to the Qur’anic terms śabr and qitāl, respectively. ~~~(18) Abū Ḥāmid al-Ghazālī, Iḥyāʾ ʿUlūm al-Dīn, ed. ʿAbd Allāh al-Khālidī (Beirut: Dār al-Arqam, n.d.), 84-100; Ibn al-Qayyim al-Jawziyyah, ‘Uddat al-Ṣābirīn wa Dhakhīrat al-Shākirīn, ed. Muḥammad ʿAlī Quṭb (Beirut: Sharikat Dār al-Arqam, n.d.), passim Most Western academic and popular discussions of jihad focus exclusively on its aggressive dimensions, which are then projected onto the Qur’anic text itself. The fiery rhetoric of contemporary Muslim militant groups compounds widespread misunderstanding of the term. In reality, “jihad” is a broad term that encompasses different modes of human striving on earth." With Peace and Divine Loving Consciousness Sakinah

What has she done or what actual crimes has she committed? One can only be guilty for what they have personally done and should not be held responsible for what others have committed... Once she was there she found herself in a situation with no control and adult women, who were already indoctrinated with extremist far-right Wahhabi/Salafi Khwaraj ideology of Islam, took control of her and the belongings she brought with her, for which, her passport was confiscated and destroyed... She was not born in Bangladesh and this is why they refused any application for her to enter that country, which is difficult to get into in the first place; she also does not have a passport and no one can travel without a passport unless they are an actual refugee... My sympathy is still hindered by these questions: 1. What made her believe that ISIS was real islamic caliphate until she went to Syria to join them? 2. Upon what did she justify the killing done by ISIS? 3. Why did it take more than 5 years for her to finally want her british nationality back? Or when exactly did she wanna go back to UK?
