Don't know, but I think they didn't expect that this project had much potential. If you like the sound, maybe you listen to a similar supergroup: Adrian Belew (King Crimson), Les Claypool (Primus) and Danny Carey (Tool) recorded a few songs (written by themselves) playing a similar style. I particularly recommend _Ampersand_ and _Writing on the Wall._ You'll hear that they had great ideas, but somehow lacked patience to fully elaborate them.

i know. it is an awesome cover. i just get annoyed at all the hype over maynard. i mean he is awesome and all, but people idolize him SO much its crazy. like THIS cover for instance maynard wasn't creative in this n all u c is his pics. often times when i speak to other tool fans its like carey, jones and chancellor don't exist at all... their just obsessed with maynard. which is even more weird considering his opposition to such behavior. i would much rather meet any other member of tool.

In all honesty, I like this version better, because this song goes back to the time when KISS started to suck ('Destroyer' being their last great LP). When this came out in late 76, many of us asked "wtf". KISS was starting to sound cheesy, their original hard rock edge gone. Their BEST song ever: Parasite (thanks to Ace, no less).
