Hey Shane... I’m a paramedic. I strongly, STRONGLY advise you to get a check up. Just to be on the safe side, head injuries are nothing to play with.. So glad everyone is okay. Small tip that we have learned with our wooden ramp, roofing shingles nailed to the ramp helps create grip for the wheelchair and them being black heats up in the sun melting the ice. Definitely a lot cheaper then the grip they sell. So super glad Shane is okay and super sorry for the injures that came from this. Those metal ramps really do suck and are so freaking heavy. I agree with the majority of the other comments, PLEASE get him checked out, just to be sure.. it's always better safe than sorry. I had a good friend who was having pain in his ankle/leg after he had twisted his ankle while out on a run. He said he just had a twisted ankle and he was just fine, fast forward 18 days- his leg was still bothering him & I knew something wasn't right, he was a very strong & healthy 40 year old man, why would his leg hurt when he twisted his ankle? When I told him he should go get checked out, he said that the doctors would laugh at him, & call him a wimp. He passed away from a blood clot on the 19th day after his "twisted ankle". Minor falls or accidents can turn serious. It only takes a couple of hours to go see a doctor.. My friend would still be here if he had taken my advice! Everyone saying why is Hannah laughing, there's a reason. If you've ever dealt with a traumatic experience you know that your body finds ways to deal with it. Some people go into shock and can't speak, some people laugh almost uncomfortably because they know how bad it could have been (I am someone who deals with things the same way), or people get angry. There's 1,000 ways you could react to trauma. She has her own way. It's obvious it isn't due to her "not taking it serious" 🙄 So glad he's okay though. Keep an eye on him for a bit. ♥️♥️

And he is right in my opinion. We should tell the people that we love that we love them. Considering the environment I grew up in, it was just not „normal“ to show your love to someone. If you did, then all you got were people saying things like: „Haha, he is in love with her, he is in love with her“, going on for months and months. After an experience like that, you eventually stop showing love to people, which is sad.
