Thank you for the content tho Jake (and kuncan)

Shane's standards are so low that it's in the Mariana Trench. He's above nothing. He sexualized his cat, all children, and anything else passing by. He's a terrible human. If there wasn't laws to punish him the things he would do could only be described as abhorrent. He has no ethics and a moral compass that points towards making the world worse.

The end of the movie is horrifying and the fact he kept going even after she was clearly uncomfortable, and even voiced her displeasure is like, “L O L RAPE AM I RIGHT GUYS?” And also it p much reminds me of the many times my r4p1st would assault me and I didn’t even have the luxury of expressing my displeasure bc he’d hurt me, kill me and the people I love! Lol! Thank u Shane very triggering stuff!! Sadly the inspiring message Jake gave at the end of the movie to wrap everything up is not how me life went and, in Shane’s own words, “It gets worse.” Living is hell, truly.

WHY IS SHE WATCHING SHANES CONTENT?????? literally how does she even know who he is.... you wouldn't just pick that book because of the cover lmao, and she was excited... its insane how many parents don't monitor what their kids are watching on the youtube.

every time I see someone review the "I hate my selfie" shorts I always have to wonder like... was shane actually ever fat? you'd think if he was he'd know how to actually redistribute the fake rolls on his neck to look natural. spent 10k on a camera but couldn't hire someone to do proper prosthetics. it's by far nowhere near the worst part of it but it is distracting enough to piss me off every time he's on screen.

Weirdly I feel like I can get into the headspace of the "I didn't see you you're invisible" bit. I think the idea was Shane wanted to say he felt invisible in school, so he scripted that part, and then he wanted to make the bully feel bad so he said "I'm gonna go kill myself now" and instead she said "my mom killed herself" and everyone felt sorry for her instead, which I feel like could have actually happened to him, he might have made an insensitive joke about suicide and then someone said they'd actually lost a loved one to it and he would have felt like "shit, I'm supposed to be the one getting sympathy here, how did this happen?" And he felt the loss of that moment so deeply he wanted to include it in his book/video. Turning a situation where you were the bad guy into one where you were the victim but it makes no sense to anyone else because people don't act like that in real life is such a Shane thing to do.
