It's opening sequence literally looks like some online KZbin "Sesame Street"/Puppet esc show for *little* kids with the bright colors and everything. He made it with the Fine Bros and it's centered around an 8 year old girl-puppet. Weirdly I feel like I can get into the headspace of the "I didn't see you you're invisible" bit. I think the idea was Shane wanted to say he felt invisible in school, so he scripted that part, and then he wanted to make the bully feel bad so he said "I'm gonna go kill myself now" and instead she said "my mom killed herself" and everyone felt sorry for her instead, which I feel like could have actually happened to him, he might have made an insensitive joke about suicide and then someone said they'd actually lost a loved one to it and he would have felt like "shit, I'm supposed to be the one getting sympathy here, how did this happen?" And he felt the loss of that moment so deeply he wanted to include it in his book/video. Turning a situation where you were the bad guy into one where you were the victim but it makes no sense to anyone else because people don't act like that in real life is such a Shane thing to do.
