WSI is the anti-Hannibal! Just when I thought KZbin shoot interviews had gotten overcrowded and stale, WSI breathed new life into it. And it's good to see Jack Victory getting some light shined on him! I remember seeing him in ECW back in the day and while he wasn't exactly the biggest name in the promotion, he was always a welcome addition to whatever was going on. One of my favorite promos of all time was the "Chili Sauce" segment with him, Steve Corino, Dawn Marie and New Jack. It managed to go from a straight-forward promo to genuinely scary to absolutely hilarious without skipping a beat. Definitely worth watching! Also, Victory should get extra points for that match in ECW when Taz f*cked him up with a wheelchair. That was Goddamn BRUTAL!

Underused? Not at all. The guy was given TWICE the task of carrying ECW on his back and he left TWICE for other promotions (WWF in 95, WCW in 99) when ECW needed him the most. If he was "underused" (he wasn't) it's because of himself, he just wasn't reliable enough to be a top guy over several years.

@@JosephSAMUELJonesMommyTammTamm That's cool and I don't blame Shane for doing what's best for him and his family (and keep his house), but then don't call yourself The Franchise if you can't stay in one promotion for at least 3 years. He once "called out" Sting and Cena on his podcast because they once called themselves "Franchise", when they are both far more deserving of the name (Sting spent over 13 years with NWA/WCW without leaving, Cena has been with WWE for 20 years +) than a guy like him that constantly left promotions left and right over pay or booking or both. He's not worthy of that nickname.

Madusa/Alundra Blaze to me will always be the reason the Montreal screwjob happened. Her throwing a WWF title belt in the trash on another companies show caused Vince McMahon to think all of his other champions would be capable of doing the same. Bret Hart has sworn up and down that he had no intention of doing anything like that. He just didn't want to lose to a guy that when the time came admitted he wouldn't have done the same. Shawn was allowed multiple times to get out of losing his title. He should've been forced to do the job on that night. Not Bret. Vince was afraid of history repeating itself and he wasn't about to be fooled twice. That is on the person that fooled him the first time.

I think, on that sad day, people are going to say similar things about Shane that they say about Bobby Eaton. The only person I've heard him not like is HBK and by the sound of it, that's overwhelmingly justified. I totally agree with the NWA/WCW back in the day and I think that was the downfall. I loved WCW because they were wrestling AND telling a story. Eventually, they all had to get characters and, once a boob job was a pre-requisite, I've never liked what wrestling has done with women.

Shane Dawn Marie is an actual nurse. I was in the hospital in Philadelphia and I thought someone was pulling a rib on me. Being someone who knew most of the crew from ECW from driving a lot of the wrestlers back to the hotel after the matches. I knew her and many on the roster. I also use to be the guy who use to bring a little guy in a wheelchair name Brian to the shows and many of the wrestlers knew Brian also. But like I said before I thought someone was pulling a rip on me. I was in the hospital after having a minor heart attack. I'm in the hospital bed. I get woken up for medication and who's my nurse but Dawn lol. That was back when she was just starting out as a nurse. I was friends with her Tommy hell Taz grew up in the same neighborhood as me in Brooklyn lol remember Taz as a little fat kid in the neighborhood lol. But I will say this Dawn looked just as hot in them scubs as she did at any of the shows lol. And believe me them naughty nurse fantasies ran thought my demented mind at the time. Even though it most likely would have killed me after just having a heart attack lol. There were a lot of fun time's at the arena the rides taking the wrestlers back to the Econo Lodge and at the hotel lol. Hell Shane I think you are one of the only wrestlers that I didn't drive back to the hotel back in the ECW days.

I’ll take the wrestling company over the SE industry anytime. The territory days with the colorful independent promoters were the best. The “boys” never broke kayfabe and lived their gimmick. Probably not doable today. Unique to the golden age and a bit beyond. Today it’s all about the entertainment and money. Enjoy it for the major production and storylines but it’s not the same. Today’s wrestlers are looking to crossover into film and television work and look at wrestling and the WWE as the first step to that goal. Cool, but it’s not the good ol’ rasslin of bygone year’s.
