Eh. Lots of people say that. Cabs are supposed to be a fakie-only trick, but plenty of credible mags/sites/KZbin channels use the phrase. Plenty of pros use the phrase too. I'll say nollie bs flip or nollie front heel, but if it's a 360, I'll just default to nollie cab heel -- it's easier to say than "nollie bs 360 heelflip," especially in games of skate with people.

Shane misinterpreted the last trick as an impossible late front foot flip when it was a late back foot flip. :( Also, why is it such a big deal to call it a Nollie half-cab? It means it is the same motion as a regular half-cab but Nollie instead of fakie. I understand that it is more accurate to say Nollie frontside 180 but Nollie half-cab has 3 fewer syllables and it is relatively intuitive to understand and if it actually causes confusion you could just explain that a Nollie half-cab is a Nollie frontside 180. It's not that hard, but once you get used to it it is simply much easier and faster to say and "half-cab" is objectively cooler than saying "frontside 180". TLDR: why the fuck does it matter so much to so many people?

This was really a disgrace to a game of skate between two great people. There was not build up like you would see in any normal game of skate. Almost rusted because of the crowd and the people reffing. This is a strategy type of game, working away you opponent. I understand that skateboarding getting bigger, the publicity is good for big and small companies alike getting into skating and supporting the community. But this is just going to far.

Would it have been more logical to describe the mike mo flip as an Impossible underflip Its still late and all but the technique is slightly different. You get a good shot of both guys attempts and you can straight up see shane with a pretty decent attempt but hes kicking down where as mike Is flicking up half way into the impossible. I wonder if shanes attempt would have been better with understanding that its an underflip? Awesome game though watched the whole thing, espn seemed a bit obnoxious when they keep breaking up the flow mind

mike mo and shane are ALWAYS playing skate against eachother.. you know i can't tell if its because they are such rivals in terms of whos better at flat ground.. or because they are both so good that these big brands know they can get lots of money and awesome shots of 2 of the best flat ground skaters in history. Little back story.. the reason why mike mo is well. pretty much the best in flat ground ... I think hes won batb twice ? and hes beaten shane like 2-3 times.. shanes beaten him I think twice.. but yeah .. its because when he broke his arm he spent like a year or 2 just doing flat ground as a PRO doing nothing but learning random tricks.. in fact the only reason why other pros are getting way better at flat ground is because they need to catch up to mike.. he was the first to do half of these weird ass tricks no ones ever seen lol
