It hits hard when he says, "We're gonna be friends for a long time."

Gotta feel for him tho. Sachin was always getting cheered in the crowd but Warnie never did and really deserved to be. 😔

Generally , in Australia Warnie was loved & admired ( for his cricketing skills ) . He was a nationally recognised & reliable match winner & sporting hero in Oz , as well as a very generous & charitable man . His private life is HIS business .

I literally got goosebumps when he came to bat, and the whole wankhede was chanting "sachin sachin", never had seen anything like that before.
@fryliver4953 Жыл бұрын
Literally every time he came out to bat they chanted that. Indian fans aren't very creative.

@@fryliver4953 i don't remember any other time than that tbf, only that once, chanting in india, is pretty recent thing, atleast on tv, I've never heard any chants in India before that

Gotta miss Warney. Wish we had gotten everything out of this genius mind. We miss your greatness on the pitch.
Perhaps 2 of the greatest cricketers of the modern age , but regarding batting : Don Bradman's Test average of 99.94 over his 20 year Test career puts him well ahead of all others . Bradman's era of much smaller bats in use , uncovered pitches exposed to all weather conditions , no helmets against upto 90 m/ph bowling , & very little padding protection makes it hard to understand how Bradman could have rewritten all the record books in his day ( with many records still standing today ). His averages were almost twice as good as his best contemporaries . This is not to minimise Sachin's greatness , coz he too was just an incredible player , but from a completely different era .
