Thanks for the really entertaining reacctr, I'm always super happy if someone discovers this band, especially if they have a drumming background. Steve Judd gotta be one of the most exquisite and unique drummers I know, a lot of linear drumming with sometimes extremely complex but super tasty grooves. Deadman is definitely a good song from the same album to showcase the bands great ability to play with dynamics. Including some of the sexiest "simple" grooves I've ever heard. My favourite track from them is the last one of this album "Change". Very unique, very storytelling, grooves that at first listen are often overwhelming but eventually forme it became the ultimate musical emotional ride. I'm not sure what the lyrics mean but I feel like everyone has their own meaning of them. Fantastic work ❤

As a lifelong bass player, he’s one of my favourite drummers but let’s not forget how awesome the bass and bass and tone is as well. Musicians can’t not love this band.

Thanks brother for having a listen . Love your work.much appreciated. Rick Beato did a breakdown of their song Goliath and has it in his list of songs with the most unique time signatures. Criminally underated. And yes they've opened for tool multiple times.Every song ( Sound Awake is a masterpiece)is worth a listen. I believe they named the band after all the ' clowns' that would be at their shows when they were still playing pubs as a cover band.

Please man, if you did enjoy, which I'm honest Im writing out of excitement before watching, because New Day and Change are the two songs that just made my teens years.. well, Im still here is what I'm saying, and I can't say I would be without Karnivool and A7X. but but all that to say, do Change from the same album, you might have things to say which Id love to hear, either bad or good, cus noone and I mean NO ONE f---king talks about these kings, it's such a bitter sweet top 10 band of all time for me. Either way, Im biased cus I know how talented they are from how they record and compose, they did a cool like studio thing one time I remember, it was fascinating and surely easy to find again here on YT. Keep it up man, could use some of that dedication in my life at times.

Ian Kenny the Lead singer is also the frontman for a band called Birds of Tokyo. If you get a chance have a look at their song Silhouettic. The live version from the broken strings tour is a great version. Also always a great experience watching your reactions, Thank you.
