i visited toms grave to pay my respects, i thought i owed it to him after i heard the story....i cried because of it, and laid down a rose. spent about 30 min there talking to him and introducing myself....what a life he had. R.I.P. Tom #taptaptap

I live less than an hour from where Tom grew up. My sons are 29 and 30. I would have felt proud and fortunate to have had Tom as a son. I hope my 2 can be as happy as Tom seemed to be. What hateful, ignorant fools his parents were! My condolences to Shane at the horrible treatment you received after his passing. Tom is with you always. I hope you can find some happiness. Can't even get through the first minute of this video without tearing up. Such a sad story about a beautiful sole. Wonder what his parents have to say now, what with the story , and posts and how much Shane loved and honored his memory. They should be thanking Shane for letting the world know how great a person Tom was.

I never knew Tom but after watching the movie i feel like i know you both and i have not stopped crying. I hope Tom is at peace and i know he is watching over Shane. He should be at rest in California that is where his heart was and is. RIP Tom.

Tom obviously was an amazing person loved by many friends. I remember seeing him host the TV program Reel. He was very good. Although many of us weren't blessed enough to know Tom Bridegroom, through these KZbin postings from you Shane we can all see how he loved you, his friends and family, loved to travel, made people happy and enjoyed life to the fullest. You and he may have only had 6 years together but must have shared more happiness in those 6 years than others do in a lifetime.
