It amazes me that so many people are so unprepared in their homes. ALWAYS keep many canned goods and waters or essentials. This happens when everyone relies only picking up a couple things at a time or thinking we can always get it delivered that is foolish thinking. Oh stop! Frigs in the US are much more empty. Inflation and food shortage are very real here. China has to do this lockdown. China's populations are clustered on the east coast and population density is very very high in metropolitan cities like Shanghai. Especially with the Omicron, if they don't control this, it will overtake the city very quickly. Just hunker down and stay strong!

I can't argue with inflation but California provides a mass majority of agricultural goods to the US and Mexico provides the rest. The reason why the price of fruits and vegetables are still considered dirt cheap compared to other first world countries. The US and Mexico will never prioritize providing China over their own and therefore will not be affected. Now if you wanna go on a shopping spree that is your call but it will be useless at the end.

@@latinsizer The US is experiencing a food shortage, compounded by logistics issues. This is pretty evident in the US. Daily staples have gone up in prices as much as 200-300% and the shelves look a lot more emptier compared to before. The issue in Shanghai is not a food shortage per se, but logistics constraints. The point is this guy shows images of stocked pantry and yapping about food shortage. I have family and friends in Shanghai, and they aren't having issues. If well planned, you can still order groceries to be delivered... The biggest issue I am hearing is that people are bored out of their minds.
