Cathay Dragon Business Class Hong Kong to Shanghai | The Pier & Wing First Class lounge

This is a comprehensive review of my connection flight from Boston and onward to Shanghai. After caviar and free flow change on my previous flight, I had an enriching six hours transit in Hong Kong during which I enjoyed Cathay Pacific’s world-class first class lounges while receiving birthday greetings and cakes from the wonderful lounge agents.
My Cathay Dragon flight to Shanghai was rather ordinary, as it was a two hours commuter flight in a lackluster regional business class cabin.

How good is the lounge and the food!!! Great to see they made it up for you with a lovely cake in the lounge!! Very funny you are flying on an aircraft older than you are...I am sure you are both in excellent condition...years of flying ahead of you both! The ATC is fantastic! Brilliant take off vision and I have a feeling the Captain almost sounded Australian ?? Great birthday paperwork from the flight deck....I reckon you had the longest birthday of anyone I know!!
