I wonder if this is the same Shangi La that operates luxury hotels in Manila Philippines? I suspect they are. The hotels are beautiful. I would love to stay in one someday.

The Shangri-La has branches all over the world so we would imagine that the Shangri-la in Manila also belongs to the chain of Shangri-La Hotels! We have stayed at the Shangri-la in Penang and Kuala Lumpur and both stays were excellent. We can highly recommend a stay at Shangri-La Hotels, we will be back soon!!

I’m lost for words wow wow wow . What an amazing hotel and the food and services were out of this world . I think the saying you get what you pay for certainly reflects in this magnificent hotel . Mags always has massage or something on offer where as I never have but maybe this has changed my mind . The menus for everything looked very nice and a lot of choice . This is a hotel that we hope the two of you will try when you travel to KL! If you can eat a non-western breakfast in the mornings then you are spoilt for choice - THE FOOD IS SOOO GOOD!! :-D This was such a relaxing stay and we can say without doubt that we will be returning again... soon ;-) Yes, it is almost weekend again, the days and this year have just flown by! We are having a Christmas lunch with family this weekend and will try to upload a little airport video. Wishing you both a good day and lovely upcoming weekend :-D

We had a fabulous stay at the Shangri-la and chose this hotel specifically because of the delicious local foods it serves for breakfast - they did not disappoint!! :-D Glad that Maro ate the Roti the right way, we always try to eat the food in the same way that we see the locals do! A Roti can only be enjoyed if eaten with the hands :-D Delicious!! :-D

The hotel looks beautiful but it’s left me feeling very hungry! As soon as the thunderstorm here in Malaysia has stopped, we will go in search of some tasty Malaysian food 😊. We stayed at a Shangri La in Fiji a long time ago but this one in KL looks way more fancy.

It is a wonderful hotel and the food is tip-top. If the two of you are still in Penang then we can highly recommend going to the Shangri-La Rasa Sayang hotel located at Batu Ferringhi Beach (go with a taxi). This is where we stayed during Easter 2019.
