Jay I call bull. For one thing, there are plenty of marriages that have survived infidelities. For another, ever hear of "open" marriages? I personally think mental abuse, physical abuse, refusal to participate either sexually or by refusing to do chores, and spending the other's money without consent are all worse than a cheater. Cheating just means there's already something wrong with the relationship, there was an opportunity, and that opportunity provided something that the cheater needed, be it friendship, love, or sex. I get it, Shania is a very brave women, when my husband cheated on me I told the other girl take him and never come back, we had six children and divorced then one day I posted bail for her and picked her up, she thought I was there to beat her up but I asked her why? That's all I wanted to know and I found out it was the sneaking around hiding was a rush so when I left with all my kids and raised them by myself was the best thing to come out of this mess. She later died drug overdose and him in prison for 20 yrs and now destitute.

I helped wire up Mutt's recording studio overlooking Lake Geneva in Switzerland in 1999 for 3 months and met Marie-Anne (the other woman) who was Mutt's accountant then. When I saw her I thought there is something possibly waiting to happen there as Mutt was by himself and Shania was away until the last week or so of my stay so, I was not that surprised about what occurred after that in a way. A shame but these things happen.

I was in a relationship for 20years and my best friend i use that word loosely ended up with my ex.The farher of our children, i was her maid of honor in her wedding before my ex and her got together. They hated each other me and her were friends since we were kids raised our children together. So my ex was very abusive and into drugs ,so was she.The day my ex beat me up for the last time i left.Best thing i ever did!!!I watched him pick her up as the cops surrounded his vehicle. She tried to help him.So the morale of my storey is trust your gut!!Friends are over rated!!I have a happy life now my children are well and happy!!and for the ex and ex best friend they are still doing drugs and miserable with eachother. guess that's karma!!
