I know of her real father.....he lived in a small town(my hometown) a few hours away from timmins ontario....he was well known, but not famous.....just a regular French man.....my mom used to go for a few drinks after her shift and she would always see him there.....sometimes she sat at his table and chatted but not often :) she usually was at the billiards tables.

Ok so I was wondering what happened and came looking for something about her and found this interview. I knew she'd gotten divorced but I didn't know all this. Wowzers Shania took a step up, and her besty took a step down!! Shania and Fred both got better spouses, better people, better looking, and in Shania's case, a much much younger spouse. Fred is 21 years younger than her ex who's like 75. Really hope Marie enjoys changing those bed pads and diapers LOL!
