I have lyme disease too. I feel like my life is over and will never be the same. It attacks your central nervous system and heart. For Shania the disease took her voice for years due to the nerve destruction. She fights the disease and learned how to talk and sing again. She is my hero.

I'm a Doctor not sure where you are but if you can get to a Integrative/Functional medicine neurologist/medical practitioner they can make significant differences to sufferers of Lyme disease. See David Perlmutter Florida website and Integrative Medicine Association/s; they have a much greater range of non-toxic treatments. More and more this is being used in the mainstream Good luck

Y'all can actually look up Shania Twain's interviews. She said she got bit by a tick on her Up! tour and began losing her voice. She went to every doctor imaginable, like the primary care, ears nose and throat doctor and every test she had done came out perfect. Shania said she almost gave up on ever singing again until she visited a neurologist and found out she got Lyme's disease from that tick. She said every day is a challenge and has to regularly work out her vocal cords. Sadly, it's permanent.
