A Canadian 🇨🇦music legend who her worked her way out of childhood poverty raising two younger siblings at the age of 18, after the tragic accidental death of both parents. She supported them by singing in local resorts and hotels in Ontario before getting her big commercial break in her late twenties. She’s still one of my favorite country vocalists and I saw her in her first big international tour in Montreal back in the 1990’s. Fantastic show, great singer, beautiful woman inside and out and humble at heart. This is probably my favorite ballad of hers, such a pretty melody and lyrics, and not easy to sing well.

Both of her parents had past away in a car accident. When I was a little kid travelling with my family we'd play Shanaia Twain's album and it became an audiological symbol of good times with my family especially in the countryside and sunlight. I still reserve most of her songs for that sort of good travel and it makes me feel good :).

Jennie cartier This concert was filmed in Paris. The DVD is called “The Paris Concert for Amnesty International- The Struggle Continues”. Shania sings YSTO and BEBT... there are other artists too like Tracy Chapman, Alanis Morissette, Bruce Springsteen, Radiohead etc. It’s a great DVD for collectors.
