Aaliyah, Brandy, and Monica were the last because to this day, no one did or does it like any of these incredibly talented women did. I would love a documentary about how women in R&B evolved from the beginnings in the 20s-60s and up to the 70s-90s. It can stop after that time period because music now is complete sh*t smh 🤦‍♂️
