Congrats Shankar, Suganda and Sree and Shreya. Judging by the enthralling performance Shankar delivered as his debut solo piano recital, he seems to be quite promising. Indeed, what was so impressive in the show was how he was able to channel his obvious talents with such self-assuredness, maturity and élan, drawing an impressively nuanced tonal range from the piano and achieving a pleasing musicality throughout the recital. Kudos to the young artist and the guru Theresa Cannizzaro.
