Shankhill ? How many good, decent living Catholics live in that area I wonder. Is that a safe haven for them in that particular part of the British Isles - and if not, why not ?

@@user-bz1sy7cf3b Exactly. You have just described, with your comment, the kernel of the ills that befall NI. To think that in this day & age ordinary people in the British Isles cannot or dare not live in some areas of the town or city they live in or were born in. I don’t have that where I live in Southern England. It’s foreign to me. It’s peaceful and apart from the cost of living situation, good. Religion of whatever sort is rarely mentioned and all Faiths are tolerated.
