No wonder Kid couldn't tank it unlike Oden. Dude have to tank two separate shockwaves at 1:20 (Damned Punk exploding/pink) and 1:27 (imbued ACoC/red).

Roger and Shanks are clearly very close in strength. But they had different situations Roger wanted to test Oden, find out what he was capable of, so Oden survived the "ticket to China" attack. Shanks wasn't going to kill Kidd because he needed a map. But because of Kidd's gun, there was no time or choice, so he knock Kidd out, because otherwise his friends would have been hurt.

How so? His bounty was only ever high because he killed the weak and innocent. He's done nothing but catch Ls since stepping on the big stage. Beckman literally took his arm. Kaido clowned him. Queen clowned him, and Law carried in the Big Mom fight. He's got that Ace syndrome of wanting to die.

@@korymulanax3362 Kid did injure a Sweet General though and, while I agree Law did more work, he still fought with Law and came out on top. Not that it changes any of the things you were saying but if you're going to stay factual, you should at least point out that he has done SOME pretty impressive things. I would have loved to see Kid do more. I like his character. HOWEVER, since his character is based off the real-life pirate Willian Kidd, I think Oda's plans for him are to be on the tragic side. The William Kidd was a very 'unfortunate' pirate. Dude was screwed over a lot by his crew/people he thought as friends, as well as, the Whig political party that backed him abandoning him during the time of his trial which resulted in him not having any information/money for his defense. He and the pirate king, Henry Avery, were both specifically not given pardons from the 1698 Act of Grace either so Kidd was straight up hung for like 5 counts of piracy (and one count of murder, to his surprise.) despite having been given a letter of marque at the start of the expedition that made him a pirate. Needless to say, I think Eustass Kid getting screwed is written in stone, but we can at least show him some respect since that is the case. lol

@korymulanax3362 Okay, Law might have done most of the work in Big Mom fight but they both got EXTREMELY lucky because of Law's Fruit being the ultimate counter to her Homies and her falling into those explosives. Plus Big Mom didn't even used Advanced Conqueror's Coating throughout the whole fight so she was never completely serious and thought her Devil Fruit powers and normal strength was enough to beat those rookie brats
