Usopp's arc is my personal favourite, but everyone else hates it. If you don't enjoy it I cannot stress enough that it is still worth pushing through it, since the next two arcs are when most people claim One Piece "gets good".

Reading the manga recently I found it simple horrible, I had a memory of the anime of being A 6 grade arc. Maybe the anime improve the arc itself.

@@jgdghhdd1409 I think the anime has changes that are both worse and better, but most people hate the arc wholesale cuz Usopp is weak and therefore not worth their attention. I started One Piece _because_ of Usopp, and the first episode he shows up sold me completely on the character. Even currently reading Egghead, this is my favourite arc, and I know I am VERY alone in saying that.
