After seeing imu blow their top I realized that Imu's headwear is a volcano erupting. The hood forms a little mountain shape at the base of the crown with the golden crown shooting upwards from the middle like flames into the sky. A volcano is a perfect symbol for the power of the earth especially knowing that the most powerful offensive fruit is lava and islands tend to be land created by a volcano erupting into the sea and after all the earth isn't just the land or just the vast ocean its the land and the sea, its everything under the sun.

The more we see imu's powers, the more i feel like he has the same type of devil fruit/powers as Luffy but the dark version of it. Luffy has the power to make dreams come true and has a very childish imagination while imu has the power to make nightmares and uses his imagination to create these monsters and their powers, hence the gorosei having nightmarish monster vibes. It really begins to feel like a battle between good and evil, light and dark, the sun and the moon, dreams and nightmares,...

I’m sure everyone noticed that woman vice admiral had the same eyes as Imu when all of them were watching Saturn burning. Her eyes were not double circled before that burning scene….hum what does that mean ? I think the death of Saturn was to catch our attention away for bit….the real deal is the link between that vice admiral and Imu. If you look carefully her double circled eye is only active when Saturn is burning literally. You can even see that vice admiral face with the eye is diagonally connecting down on the right to Imu’s eye.

This may be a stretch but the comparison from foot down to foot up may be a foreshadowing of similar views but executed in different ways or different positions the first being in a position of lesser power but still power and the second being a position of power that has no limit or ceiling I also do believe that at some point they will have different views or polarizing personalities as individuals both number two to someone one to imu and one to the five elders it wouldn’t surprise me if they had a disagreement that lead to an argument or flat out fight during a war or crucial meeting for the sake of their government.

What if the real reason why Imu killed Saturn was because of Devon. Saturn messed up and let someone get in contact with him which in turn would risk the gorosei becoming compromised. It was too much of a risk to keep Saturn alive knowing that someone out there could be disguised as him. Garland's response was too quick it's as if he had been notified prior to the Gorosei's loss against the Ancient Robot.

Keeping Saturn alive knowing someone can disguise as him is a threat to the World Government and the Celestial Dragons.
