Not sure if anyone said this but Coby wasn't just freaking out because of all the death, I believe he was actually manifesting observation haki at that very moment. So he was basically getting a psychic view of everything around him at the exact wrong time. So he had like an up close and personal murder reel that incapacitated him.

Wano just have all the straw hats time to shine and we all know what luffy achieved there so cant wait to see it animated. Battle wise marineford is just the standard showcase to show what level luffy gonna need to achieve to survive in the new world with all these crazy characters by showing how useless luffy is against all these powerful characters. While in wano luffy is already rly that strong but needed that one little push to rly made him be called one of the strongest and he achieved just that. It depends on the preference tho but tbh i rly like the showcase of power from some of these old generations but seeing straw hats having their on spotlight in an arc is a joy to see as well especially we havent seen them together since dressrosa i believe which is years ago

A lil bit of context.. Shanks and mihawks are rivals in swordsmanship until shanks lost his arm and mihawk just basically lost his interest as well in competing with him. Arc that might be better or equal to marineford arc is probly wano but it depends on ur preference. Bc these 2 arcs are a setup to something later on.
