Comparing him to TO is blasphemous.. He is more like a young Brandon Marshall, good intentions, LOVES THE GAME, but can't control his emotions. He can't handle failure and gets fired up. I remember Marshall throwing the football off the field after a bad play once, last year Odell kicked the ball off the field. I'm not saying Odell has a personality disorder, but I'm drawing more similarities between he and Marshall than he and TO

Nothing, except when you're the star player on a professional football team and expected to represent the team with dignity and set an example for your teammates. OBJ should be showing his resolve and perseverance after a loss (a loss in which he allowed an opposing player to get him out of his game, which led to costly penalties), not making a spectacle on the sidelines and crying because he lost the game to Josh Norman

There's a difference between arguing to a coach or teammate and going off having a tantrum. Brady has passion, Odell was childish. One of the biggest distractions is not knowing what his problem is. Last time I checked Beckham wasn't complaining about him not getting the ball the 1st, 2 games when they won. This Giants offense will he unstoppable if they get the ball to him more. Giving Beckham the ball will only open up Opportunity's for Sheppard, Cruz. None of the Skins DBs could stop the Giants WR yet they continued to run even when they Skins shut down the running game in the second half. Yes Beckham needs to control his emotions to an extent. You gotta understand that's just who he is so either take it or leave it that simple.

youngbuck0911 The one year wonder thing was wrong. But he was right about the emotional part. I think he made that 1 year wonder statement, because he thought Cruz was coming back in 2015. That would mean Odell wouldn't receive the ball as much. Similar to what we're seeing now in 2016. Cruz is back and they have Sterling Shepard. The ball will be spread around more and he may not be getting the ball like he used to. This was Shannon's point within the video.

@mareo1878 жыл бұрын
i don't mind his emotions on the side line that much but Odell is one of a kind And just Brandon Marshall even said he like that on the field sometimes especially a close game like Redskin game. It's called playing with passion and that's what Lawrence Taylor did and Odell is doing the same. Aslong he keep breaking records, aid our Giants family to win games, and outplay the opposing defense side then I'm fine with it. Just don't get in a fight Odell with another player and use that anger on the game as energy.

Giants have a problem with Odell? Trade him to a team that appreciates his talent
@mareo1878 жыл бұрын
The Giants do love Odell and care about him. Giants want him to suppress his anger but at the same time they understand his anger. Even Brandon Marshall and Rand moss said they understand him and they was like that and a legendary Giants player was like that Lawrence Taylor. They was many players that was like that in the Giants but Lt and Odell was the most noticeble ones and have the right to be that way because they show their talent. Brandon Marshall said it yesterday day that if a player gets mad but shows plenty of his talent in the field in very a very positive way that impact the team in very big way then he can get angry all he wants but not hurt anybody on the process just use your anger on the field. Many Giants players already talk to him about the his outburst but still want him to be Odell. They treat him as a lil brother and I don't think Giants will trade someone that was recommended by the Manning Family and who is known and invited by Eli into the Manning Passing academy. Odell is a Giants Star just like Victor, Jason, Eli, etc. Odell fine where he at and he even said plenty of times that he love he city and love team as his 2nd home( which the main home is Baton rouge L.A) besides Cali.
@puravpatel11468 жыл бұрын
Mario Sanon lol I know. I'm not overthinking this. I don't think he's leaving new york anytime soon but at the same time they should try to get him the ball more...especially on game winning drives. He should be the go to for the game winning touchdown passes, not will tye. Eli has terrible judgement and that's a fact when you look at how he's leading the NFL in 4th quarter interceptions.... oh and I also have odell in fantasy lolll so I might be biased about throwing it to Odell. Yeah Odell needs to control those emotions but it's his desire to win. And he could've easily blamed that game on his teammates and Eli, but he didn't. And he could've did it all last year as well as blame it on the play calls and defense, but he didn't. That shows the heart of this kid. T.O was putting everyone on blast whether it was coaches or players. Odell just wants to win, and do as much possible to help his team out. Can't blame him for being competitive.

As a Giants fan, I will say that from my perspective, Eli is the leader of the offense. When he first came into the league, Michael Strahan was the leader of the Giants, but he allowed Eli to take control of the offense and Mike just focused on leading the defense. I think this tradition has continued, with Justin Tuck leading the D until he was gone, and now the leadership position on defense is still up for grabs. As for the offense, with a new HC, it's hard to see who the leadership role has gone to. Obviously Eli is the main guy, but they need someone who is constantly pumped up and screaming at everyone to assist Eli in running this offense OFF the field.

Beckham coming to Seattle. I know Pete Carroll and he loves people like OBJ. Seattle should trade Baldwin, Bennett, and a first round pick for OBJ. That's a fair trade honestly, considering the amount of cap space OBJ demands. The first round pick you get an elite athlete for 4 years on the cheap, while also getting pass rush from Bennett, and a great receiver who's better for the locker room.

Unless the Giants get lucky and draft a suitable replacement for Eli when he's done there's a slim chance Odell Stays in NYC

Cmon Shannon so he is a distraction just because the head coach don't want to answer questions to the media

Absolutely Shannon. OBJ is an uncontrollable emotional, yet talented, child that likes to pitch a fit to get attention. But that kicking net sure showed him who was boss - lol.

Xavier Rhodes sure got to him. 3 catches for 23 yards. I think it's pretty clear everyone can get under his skin not just Norman

Guess you didn't see the SB when Josh Norman was crying. Or in 2013 when Dallas blew a 23 pt lead to Green Bay & Dez went to the locker room early cuz he didn't want nobody seeing him cry.

so you didn't see Josh Norman, t.o ray Lewis, cry on the sideline's
@neckisstiff8 жыл бұрын
Yeah Norman was crying on the sidelines and also in the locker, which was a rare video! See Norman is a crybaby too.
