The defense didn’t hate him they just felt like he was coddled and they felt the super bowl loss was an indicator of that because they felt like Pete Carrol called a pass to spite Marshawn Lynch and praise Wilson. You can tell that’s the reason cause Earl Thomas is still friends with Wilson and Kam Chancellor is too. The only people that really had resentment were Bennett and Sherman. Plus the defense that Seattle has now loves Wilson and embrace him as family or friends

The reason people hated him before is because they saw what a showboater he was beforehand. That and even when they won, if something happened he didn't like he'd complain about it. (Ripping up other team banners, getting in players faces when he scores, etc) Nobody hates him for his team losing because most know he's a talented player. The fact is he has a massive ego that he needs to feed and when that doesn't happen baby Cam pops out of the woods and makes a scene nobody wants to see.

Just watched the debate on first take withe the same topic, It really sucks without Skip because it feels like they have to disagree on everything that each other is saying. Max Kellerman made a strong point that Cam has not matured since the super bowl, having to him handling the press like a leader and face of the NFL instead of an arrogant person. Stephen A Smith, came into Cam's defense just because the team is 1-5 and they dont have the same team as last season, giving him the right to act how he acted with no strong point. That shows seems to be very sloppy nowadays. Shannon is an educated professional football player and say what you want about Skip, his resume is very impressive and is an amazing analyst.

In my honest opinion Cam should just do what Beastmode did and say "I'm here so I won't get fined" after every question. The only reason Cam is getting ripped by the media is because when he wins it's all rainbows and sunshine.(even if they played bad). Drew Brees has a WAY worse defense and has had it for just about his whole career. Do you see him throwing fits? Rodgers isn't playing with a great defense either, is he throwing fits?
