I saw him with "the dukes of september tour". Great player. Very professional and plays for the song. I didn't see him embellish any of the songs. Shannon is all business. I wish I could say that about so many other drummers.

Discovered him in a short 2003 "Cock Robin Nashville Reunion" documentary (more like a home movie) that Cock Robin's guitarist, Clive Wright, filmed. (It's on KZbin.) I dug the little groove Shannon was filmed working on, upstairs in the drum area, so I Googled him, and... here I am. Seems like a really nice, down-to-earth guy.

Shannon is one of the coolest cats out there! He's got the groove, the chops, but also the inspiration: you can clearly see and hear that Jeff Porcaro is his main inspiration.
