The idea of "partnership" is silly imo, you're supposed to become one but still have clear defining roles. It only becomes a sponsorship if you're getting nothing back in return. If she's holding it down in the areas that she's supposed to take care of then it's not a sponsorship. In fact, that is the most perfect scenario. The "partnership" and sponsorship scenarios is what makes everything go left.

Nearly teared up listening to Shannon talking about wanting to get his family out of the condition they were/he was in. That hits. Shannon, big fan. Great to see your success on and off the field. For context, I moved from the UK to the US when I was 22, so didn't/don't know a whole lot about American Football, but I've researched how great you were at the sport. How you conduct yourself as a man is exactly the sort of person I wish I had as a role model when I was younger - my 5 year-old son is going to learn about you and your greatness. I'm 31 now, so still young and I am inspired to keep providing for my family. Thanks, Shannon!

I like hearing Shannon talk about his personal life. Very insightful and full of wisdom. He spends almost all of his "On camera" time talking about others that I barely know anything about the man himself. He should do a Q&A thing like Skip does on his show once in a while.

Bro, I totally appreciate Shannon‘s view. What he’s basically saying is that if you want to get married, you have to be responsible for your part in the marriage. A lot of people I’m married to the idea of marriage, but not the idea of having to hold up your end of the bargain in such a union. You can call him selfish, but I’m glad that he didn’t leave anybody hanging in the process and destroyed our relationship. Big ups to this man!
