Another thing about comparing Shannon’s reaction to Skip vs the Memphis players is that with Skip he was at work and a focal point on a nationally televised show, at the Memphis game he was there as a spectator on his free time, not an employee. Tbh though I wanted to see him mush Skips face. Shannon did the smart thing and since then he’s been trending upward, while Skip has lost a lot of his viewers and supporters. I’ve always hated a smart ass loud mouth that couldn’t play or compete with the dogs, but always was yappin on the sidelines.

Shannon came from a football locker room mentality. It is similar in some regards to Units in the Military. You protect your own regardless who or why. The civilian world doesn't function like that. It was good theater but not something friendship worthy in a real sense. I hope Shay Shay understands this now especially when dealing with LeBron. What Skip did was way outside the lines but it had been building to that long before then. Shannon had essentially called Skip a racist not too long before that over Skip saying the game should have continued after Damar Hamlin went down for example. I am not trying to excuse Skips comment concerning Brady which was the final straw, I just wish to fill in context. You don't air your grievances in public with your friends or team mates. Social Media is not the place for friendships. Tweeting or texting back and forth in public will eventually always lead to this.

Shannon has said this about other players. So why should Skip hold back his words when comparing him to the GOAT Tom Brady. He didn't call Shannon's career bum level all he said was compared to Brady it wasn't close to the same achievement are we suposed to pretend it was. Skip helped him and SAS get on network tv, when Shannon had a big controversy and nobody wanted him on national tv Skip brought him on with all the risks of it not succeeding and he revived his career.
