And what does that say about your respect for everyone behind them? It’s shameful.

I'm so glad he got a chance to learn things outside of Liberty City. You don't see many youths in those areas exposed to different sports.

Mine was running into James Avery outside a stake house. I didn't go up to him but I was smiling and knoded my head at him and he nodded back. Same with Shaq when he won his first chip, but one where my jaw dropped was running into Hulk Hogan but he was like “I'm not him. I'm an impersonator.” until this day I swear Hogan just swerved me. 😂

Hulk Hogan is like 6'4" in his peak (I never believed his wrestling height of 6'8"...especially considering how 6'6" Dennis Rodman easily cleared him in height) and close to 300 lbs...if that truly was an impersonator that would be insane.

My star struck moment was when my uncle, younger brother(Jeremy) and I seen Nipsey outside and The Marathon Clothing store right in the front after he had wrapped up that Rap radar interview with Elliot Wilson. My uncle asked Him to sign his Russell Westbrook jersey I just stood there frozen I wish I could’ve asked for a photo but I was so caught in the moment it never crossed my mind. Now I’m just left with the story and memory

Good point on MJ "not seeming real" I def. know what you mean. I was in high school when he dropped 63 on the celtics, ever since that day he seemed mythical.

Jordan wasn't competing against anyone for goat status, so he didn't have haters like we do today to diminish everything he does daily. Bron has been challenging MJ since day one and MJ fans hated that with an extreme passion and made it an Ultimate mission to kill the narrative that Bron could ever be the GOAT.

The reason why celebrities aren’t like this today (Lebron as well) is because of social media. We’re too familiar with everyone so there is no mystique
