Cooper is a back up & if Dak couldn’t do anything with the Cowboys I don’t really expect him to do anything. Cooper Rush isn’t even close to being the worst backup either. Cam is seen as a big personality, I think teams view it as hard to have a talented big personality as a back up, as teammates might want them to be the starter & I think most also don’t feel Cam is at a place in his career where he could be a great starter. I can’t say for sure but he could be a back up for someone like Mahomes, Lamar, Allen, Burrow, etc. Dudes with unquestioned position in starting

As far as Cooper Rush, he is actually close to being the worst backup in the league. How are you the backup for "America's team" and not be ready to be a starter, not just in case of injury, but just naturally ready to take that job on the whole? Dak did it to Tony, remember Tony was just injured, Dak was not perceived to be that good in his rookie year, but he won and kept winning. Zeke, Dez and the O line had a lot to do with it but he did play extremely well. Cooper just has a backup vibe.

This current Dallas team has a lot more issues than QB though, they gotta fix that O-Line as that has to be one of the big reasons for the drop off from last season to this one.

CB is the hardest position to acclimate to from college. He has the hardest part down, which is being sticky. He is always on the player. He just needs to get his head around and those PIs are going to turn into interceptions. He’s going to be very good.

Yeah but in fairness he has not gotten PI penalties like he did at the beginning of the season . He has gotten better and his D coordinator -has not gotten on him or CD3 for PI penalties - he wants them to be aggressive . On that one long throw - where he got the PI penalty - notice he was right in position - as Chad said - he needs to look for the ball - or read the receiver better for when the ball is coming . The play at the end of the game was a great play - could it have been called a penalty ? yeah I have seen them - should it have been - hell no. This was his 9th game playing corner as a rookie - playing man to man probably 80% of the time - he is doing great ! Did any of you watch their corners last year ? nuff said

The extreme increase in the ability of the defense is squarely on the upgrade at the corner position. Glenn plays a mostly man coverage scheme, and you can see how it fails or flourishes depending on who is playing corner. People were talking about replacing him last season based on the failures of that defense, and now analysts can’t stop talking about how he will be a head coach somewhere else next season.

Yeah, I think Lamar has a large lead on everyone. Josh Allen is in the rear view but there’s still a lot of time left in the season, he’s pretty much the only one that feels like he could pick up enough ground to challenge but the gap got larger this week. yeah he was due - he was playing on a 5 game streak that had never been done before . I think that got him out of the MVP race - so now he can just bare down and play his best. That long pass was not a hail mary - he was trying to get Jamo deep but he does not have the zip on the ball to throw the deep ball effectively. Jamo was not really open on that play It was a mistake . Goff really is only effective at throwing between the hashes - 10-20 yards - timing type routes - he is extremely good at those - usually very accurate . It is when he starts getting out of those types of throws that he gets in trouble. They say he can't take pressure - name a QB that can ? some are more elusive and can extend a play by running out of danger - but there are few of those and often they end up rushing their throws in that case and make worse decisions - Either way that is not something Goff's can really do . He has gotten better at standing in the pocket -- taking a hit to deliver the ball . He is very good at what he does - but he will get in trouble when he tries to do more than he can do .

They have Giants, Panthers, Raiders, Chargers (tough one), Cowboys, Panthers, Saints. Falcons have Broncos, Chargers, Vikings as there next 3 games followed by Raiders, Giants, Commanders, & Panthers. So it’s possible they could push by winning the division

the chiefs are playing just like my danny white era cowboys played. danny is my fav qb. with the exception of the joe montnas nfc championship games danny always found a way to win. just like the chiefs are doing now. this is very exciting to watch. im hoping the team can pull off a perfect season with a super bowl win. go chiefs from a cowboys fan

@@marckusduverger9776 Come on - for the previous two years - right up to the game around this time last year - when they lost to the 49ers - the eagles were the dominant team in the NFC and were treated as such . They came apart last year - and I thought quit on their coach at least that is what it looks like to me . I was really surprised he was brought back . I don't see that has really been improved a lot - Barkley has seemed to be putting the team on his back - but I don't watch their games much - that is what it looks like to me .

@pjpredhomme7699: You’re right, they did talk about the Eagles a lot in 2022 & 2023. I feel they always talk about the team that has the best record in the conference as an exception, which the Eagles had in 2022 & looked like they were getting in 2023. Whether that be Lions, Eagles, 49ers, etc. I think it really says something when you aren’t leading the conference & they talk about you. Just because it doesn’t feel like an obligation, idk if that makes sense? The Eagles were a mess the 2nd half of last year & the defense could only be bailed out for so long so I get it (it did look like they quit on Sirianni heading into the playoffs but idk, that defense just got worse & worse as the season went on). The Eagles Defense this year has improved a lot, the rookies have been having an impact in the secondary & Saquon definitely acts as a stabilizing force for the offense. Some questionable coaching decisions though but they’re 7-2, could have been 8-1. It’s definitely improved actually as it seems players like Saquon like Sirianni & Jalen is looking like he’s healthier & moving better. His turnovers since the bye week have improved. Idk, Eagles don’t get the benefit of the doubt much. Every team has issues really but you’re right too
