Mims i felt the same way about the optics of Tiffany and The Hiltons. Why didn’t Kathy ask one of her daughters to do that? They were known for being a hot mess. I have worked behind the scenes on televised events for many award shows. I noticed Tiffany is NOT comfortable with her celebrity. So i was on the scene working the Prince Tribute, After the Grammys ( the weekend Kobe & Gianna passed)when she and Common , allegedly started this courtship. So there were no cameras allowed back stage. We were even warned if we pulled out our phones we would get fired on the spot. So she came w/ possibly an assistant to support Common in his performance. Sidebar Common whole team that week favored Angela Rye 🤔!!! So the set up was real relaxed and everyone was chill. There was no need to perform backstage. Tiffany kept doing her she ready move when she was introduced. We all kept looking at her wondering if she was okay. That is when we realized she was not comfortable with her new found celebrity and she felt out of place. And based on her behavior around Common, i NEVER bought into the alleged relationship, when they were suppose to be dating. I thought he was to pose as her “ starter” boyfriend in Hollywood. So when she does interviews, they can link her to another famous man. Common is perfect for that. Again i only say this, because i saw him with Angela Rye when they dated. The body language and chemistry was totally different. There is more to the story but i will stop there. 😉.
