Fletch has me laughing out loud everytime he pretends to fall asleep while someone is giving too much detail about something insignificant. The humour in these shows is so good.

Yup, it's been his go-to for 15 years now... He's STILL flogging it to death.. right along pulling a steering wheel out from under a car.. "hilarious "... 😢

Had a VC , VG regal 245 Hemi , great car, loved 70 mph, for some reason on the open road, purred like a kitten

Nice cars there Fletch. Awesome turnout. Love the VG Vals. My mates Dad had one. We used to love doing time trials in it from one town to the next back in the good old 80s. Great times. Not so many idiots on the road back then...... well apart from us....

My grandad has a ve and I’m seeing him and the valiant tomorrrow it was originally my great great grandads car shame he did not get a v8 instead he got slant 6
@barrycuda37696 ай бұрын
Absolutely nothing wrong with the slant 6 , especially with the Torqueflite in my opinion, and being a VE it's got the higher horsepower version of the slant motor.

Thank you for showing the 1980 Mitsubishi Lancer. My first car was identical but cream colour with brown stripes down the bottom. Very fond memories😊

Fletch, great show again, seeing some of those Pacers on the paddock took me back to the major prize on BP pick a Box, where a Valiant Pacer sat behind one of the boxes. They were/are a great vehicle and good see so many still around😊👍

@classicrestostv1fletch764 Thanks Again Fletch ! Another beautiful presentation of #classicrestos My first car was a VE VIP. Maroon with black vinyl roof. Loved it. Polished it and even Kiwi'd the roof. If I won some serious money tomorrow, I'd buy VIP273 , Just need to talk Kathy around from changing our March holiday next year from Gold Coast to Murray.....

Had VF, VG and VE's in the family in the 1970's and 80's. Happy memories. Prior to this, Dad bought (one at a time) and restored old Dodges - cars and a truck. When we were little, Dad brought home this purple, two door Challenger. It was a "bargain"! Mum said, "How am I supposed to put the kids in that? How am I going to go shopping?" Dad bought Mum a Valiant AP6. Seeing the Lancer in the video today reminded me of the era when "Chrysler" went in Australia, taken over by "Mitsubishi". Hard to explain now, but to me, it was like a death in the family. We just used to replace one type of Chrysler with another.

Hi Fletch another great show love watching from Indiana USA. What does it mean when you say a classic is on a P plate?
@calibre_au61837 ай бұрын
P platers are on a 'Provisional' licence, usually young adults when they first get on the road. It refers to the driver, not the car! (The letter P must be displayed on the vehicle)

A great episode, of course, Mr. Fletch. A question crossed my mind looking at all those cars: Have you met anyone to make a “General Lee” replica out of an Aussie Charger?
@brianandglendaharkin94577 ай бұрын
The VE didn’t have adjustable rockers that was in the AP6 and the VC 273 even though the VE is 273 the VE had a better flow exhaust coming of the motor . Yes the VE VF and VG were the best handling Valiant and yes iv owned many chargers Cby C s and more valiants iv lost count I’d say the VF and VG pacers are the best handling Valiant in 🇦🇺even so I love all of them .
