For me, Amitabh Bachchan singing the keshav song in Hindi is better because Ashwatthama had become EXTREMELY old and apparently his voice has become very hoarse and suits the theme as he is pleading Shri Krishna to take birth soon and relieve him from the curse in the song. Problem with sci-fi movies in india is lot of things are just copied. At this day and age that is not something to be encouraged where most people would have watched source material . If it is sand, comparisons with dune and mad max, where dune is an intergalactic story interlaced with themes of resource control and power play. Mad max is about the deterioration of human nature when we are faced with apocalyptic threats, we can see these theme in kalki puran too which was written in 500 CE. Until now we've seen 5 min of footage in 3hr 56s, so I don't understand how you can outright call it copied.

I'd disagree on the budget part though. From the reports in public the budget is 600 Cr and about half of that was supposedly paid as fees for actors and the team. I wish they tried to maximize whatever money they had and invest it on enhancing the movie quality. I sincerely hope Kalki 2898 turns into the new chapter of our movie Industry. Lastly folks, stop being territorial and fighting each other, it's an Indian movie, we are all looking forward to it.

A great director once said that " every movie is inspired from other 100s of movies ". every art comes from inspiration. Even when draw something ,it comes from your imagination reference to the things you see around you . ye nahi dekhna hai ki kya chaapa hai balki end product kaisa hai ye important hai. iss movie ka hero iski script hai ,toh zara uspar bhi dhyaan dedo ,iska prelude dekh lo (B & B) wala aur thora mahabharat ke bare me research karo .
