Akuma has a form called Oni, a form that gives him blue skin, white hair and *enormous* power. he once made a volcano spew out lava just by letting out some of his aura. and he also got new techniques, that also kill your soul. it's also not canon to the source, so i don't know if we'll get to see the form in the upcoming fight. Shao Kahn on the other hand has basically not changed with his techniques, from what i can see, plus his feats seem to be standard, being able to go toe-to-toe with Liu Kang, Kung Lao and the like. i'm pretty sure that Akuma wins. and yes, Shao Kahn took Bison's soul, but remember that Akuma has killed M.Bison in 2 seconds in the comics. and M.Bison doesn't mess around and is quite a formidable foe himself. :)

Here's a fun one, though I'm not sure if they will count it as canon or not; in the video game asura's wrath, there's a dlc/side story thing where asura can fight two characters from street fighter. Ryu, and akuma... yeah... akuma pimp slaps Ryu off of the surface of the moon, and then he and asura proceed to not only break the moon in their fight, but they keep fighting at that insane level for nearly 500 YEARS.

Yeah both characters got some new things over the years, Akuma got a in game Country level feat alongside some new SoL arguments and even got some hax buffs, Shao hasn't gotten many new feats in fact he got some anti feats with him now being vulnerable to soul hax

Not sure what we can say about Shao Khan considering he kind of became Shang Tsung’s victim in aftermath (and he wasn’t in MKX, so that’s off the table). Meanwhile for Akuma… That episode came out BEFORE Asura’s Wrath, so if that gets taken into consideration… oh boy. That and while SF4 came out before that episode, Oni (should that be taken into account too) did come out after that fight too in Super. Between those two games, whatever that can be taken from SFV and also possibly scaling to a Demonic Kazuya in Tekken 7, it seems Akuma has plenty of more ammo to use in comparison. As for who wins… *shrugs*

@@ahedjehad8514 I one thing that intrigues me for Shao Kahn is that he won Armageddon (which is canon), but at the same time we don't know what that power truly gave him since Raiden reversed time cause he was a sore loser, lol. I wonder if there is any sort of feats/power level Blaze had before SK won and maybe use that since really nothing happened to his character since he was not in MK10 and was a side character in MK11 (of some sorts). They both have instant kill moves (raging demon v soul manipulation) so this battle is very intriguing.

I feel like Akuma is faster and more skilled, but I think Khan has the edge in raw strength and durability. I think Khan is more versatile as well, and just overall more powerful. The million-dollar question is can Khan survive or somehow negate the Raging Demon? If so then he can outlast Akuma and beat him. If not, well obviously he dies. I think the fight boils down to that for the most part.

In another instance during the Street Fighter comic, Ryu's "Murderous Intent" actually became a sentiment warrior named Kage who was trying to kill him and continuously bragged how Ryu is nothing without him.

Not really. Akuma's energy abilities will be a sufficient counter to Khans magic, his soul is likely so angry and powerful I doubt Khan can absorb it, and Akuma's mastery of martial arts likely could make up the difference with Khan's skills since Khan often relies on cheap tricks to win more difficult battles while Akuma pretty much always wins through a combination of overwhelming power and skill.

Theirs a video on youtube explains how powerful he truly is. For Ten thousand years he has collected 60 billion souls. The more souls he takes, the more powerful he gets

I think the big factor in this db is if the Raging Demon technique can hit and kill Shao Kahn. Basically, it turns all your sins against you to savagely murder you. Now, it has been shown the Raging Demon can be survived if you can manipulate your soul in some way, such as how Gouken survived it (and I think M. Bison did some trick with it too, but that might not be canon). And since Shao Kahn does have soul-based magic, he could, in theory, survive the Raging Demon. But if he can't, then it will definitely utterly destroy him, as Shao Kahn is responsible for genocide of thousands, maybe even millions. And if the souls in him also are affected, then their sins could also be used against him.

@@AsmodeusMKO is that even possible? The raging demon basically takes all your sins and turns them against you, causing them to destroy you. Shao Kahn would have several realms worth of genocides on his soul, so he’s probably super vulnerable if it hits. In Sf lore, nobody has canonically survived the Raging Demon except Gouken. I believed he used Mudo no ken (Power of Nothiness) to separate his soul from his body just before he was struck by the Raging Demon, so it was basically an empty vessel with no sins to kill. Now if Shao Kahn’s magic can let him do the same, then yeah, he could survive the same way Gouken did
