@DarkLord1610 Acting. The stumbling and falling are actually calculated moves to position yourself so as to have a tactical advantage. It also emphasizes the use of iron head, elbow, and stomach.

yup its all about looking off balance from your opponents point of view which makes it look like you have openings that aren't there. really traditional and standard fighting styles have no answer to it

This is probably the only martial art as far as I know where the weapon styles actually looks different from other styles of the same weapon, besides Japanese staff forms and Chinese staff forms.

@UrzaSun That's a good comparison, I have never seen anybody outside Hollywood take off their glasses to say something important. Thanks!

Fist, you could post more videos of forms, or the complete video. There are seven years watching this video, has a special way that caught the mantis and a butterfly, do not know if it's right the last. Thanks!

@kimmy2468 Look up the 8 Drunken Immortals. They're the equivalent of saints in christianity, but since this is Buddhism we are talking about, they are very strong fighters.

I wonder who actually throws their head and shoulders back like that when they drink? I'm a bartender and have watched some pretty epic methods of throwing back a cup of booze, salutes, big throw's that wind up flipping the chairs, competitions and downright foolishness, but that seems way overboard, it's like trying to drink upside down...is it like a Chinese "Cheers!" or something?

@DarkLord1610 in order to do any style right, you need to feel whatever your style is. If it's this, you have to make yourself feel like you're fucking smashed, but know that you're not.
