Oh gosh the bouncy play mode is so cute!!! I'm so excited to see that in the game. It would be really cute I think if there was also a "sneeze" emote added, since canids often sneeze to show when they're just playing or as an apology for too harsh a bite or something! Especially if you accidentally growl at a pup...

Yay, we can boing and invite chase! I've been quietly wishing for this ever since I saw the first instance of bouncy back in the Yearlings video. Suggestion: Toggle in the options for whether you want to allow raids while asleep. That sting when you got woken up was TERRIFYING, I love it.

Just found a bug recently too! I raised a pup to adulthood with one of the "unlockable" skins but when I try to adjust their howl or their size, I get the warning "raise a pup with this skin to unlock it!" and am unable to save anything.

I went this summer. Saw wolves.. real, wild wolves. They are just as wonderful and incredible as they could be even hundreds of yards off through a telescope! Other person is right, it looks exactly the same. I saw tower fall too, I really had no idea that there’s actual rocks in the shape of pillars by the falls!

i can understand why the testers didnt like the feature of being forced to wake up due to an attack but i kinda really liked it! the idea anyway, i suppose the idea and actually experiencing it may make you change your mind but i feel its a shame that idea got removed. But either way no big deal i just love everything you do!

First of all, I LOVE how well you all listen to your beta testers. Really good suggestions from them, really well implemented by the team! Absolutely precious with being able to play with the pups, and good quality of life tweaks all around. Second of all, thank you SO much for the captions on the videos, and summary in the description. I have audio processing issues, so sometimes it can be hard for me to hear what's being said without accurate captions to follow. (Auto-Generated captions can be funny, but really aren't helpful for... actually knowing what is being said.)

It's so awesome how well the devs know their players! I am the player who spends all day with my sick puppy. I am also the player that tries to get my puppies to chase or mimic my movements! I love the new bounce option! Maybe it could apply to other emotes beyond the playbow too! Like licking a puppy on the ear or rolling more over onto your side with the roll over emote. Keep up the great work!

Dear devs, please don't omit the idea of predator attacks waking you up. It's realistic, so it would suit realism play well. It would be pretty neat if there were sliders or options to choose from to tweak the gameplay style (like with the death of sick pups) for more laid-back players, hardcore realism gamers, rps and the ones in between. A simple "predator attacks wake you up" on/off button is enough for this feature. It will make the game a lot more fun for a wider range of players. I recommend checking the ratio of attacks on pups during the season in real life and scaling it appropriately to the gameplay seasons.

Nice to see things coming along. Probably one of my favorite dev vlogs so far for the new features discussed and the feedback given from beta testers. Biggest highlight for me is joining in the play chases with the pups. There's so little you can actually do with the pups besides watch, feed, and protect them- emoting too, but the emotes don't really feel all that interactive and connecting. Something like this is what I've been hoping for, interactions that make you feel close to your mate and pups. The animations are so cute and fitting as well! Awesome stuff. Other big plus for me is the UI additions, should take out a lot of the guess-work and I think it's interesting to see what your packmates are up to. On a side note: I agree that the predators waking you up would be really annoying and tedious, especially if you get woken up multiple times while trying to sleep. Feels less thrilling to fight off an attacker when they only appear while you're asleep. I propose a different solution. Allowing predators to attack when you're not home. There was a breif period just before the release of age perks where I started to notice this happening. I assume it was a bug that was patched since I have yet to see it since the release of age perks iirc. I actually really liked predators attacking when the pups were outside with my mate and I wasn't around. Now, there *were* times this happened and my mate was incapable of defending the pups at all, causing them all to die (probably why this was fixed), but other times my mate chased threats away fine while I was off doing things. Was really immersive to me and made the game world feel less player-centric. I think this would solve the issue of not having enough predator attacks while also not just bombarding you with raids when it's least convenient. I imagine it would only apply to pups who aren't in the den when you leave. Of course, I can see a lot of people not liking this due to the lack of control you'd have with defending your pups like this, and the uncertainty of packmate's AI responding effectively. Perhaps there could be some togglable options or an addition game difficulty to allow this? Just my thoughts anyway.

As we get later and later in the year, I get more excited. I haven't heard anything much about mobile play, I think I vaguely remember it being mentioned around the first saga log but I'm not too sure. It's shaping up to be an amazing game, I hope whoever gets to play the saga enjoys it, I'll be sure to purchase it when I have enough to afford my own PC instead of an iPad for gaming purposes if it never releases on mobile. If anyone knows of anything official (and permanent) about mobile support for Anniversary Edition please let me know!

I personally love idea of wolves waking you up and also recently I have been thinking what if there was a harder difficulty. (brutal reality?) Then some of those features not all players agree on still could be used. (and some new ones) Such as letting a wolf get more injuries at once. Then injuries wouldn't be just a speed, stamina, strength reduction, but oh no I could die. Or Bleeding, where just escaping rival wolves doesn't mean your safe, it could work kinda like the poisoned meat in Lost River. Maybe pups could drown again but if they had no energy? Bears could claw at the den and possibly grab a pup from inside. (I would love more danger and chance for death lol) Just a few thoughts, anyway super excited for the saga!!

Omg, I love the bouncy run and the play bow ❤️❤️❤️ I think WQ really needs more stuff like that. Can I make a suggestion? I feel like WQ wolves don't express enough emotion, similar to the Lion King Live Action remake. I think it would add more life to the game if your wolf would smile/grin when they succeed in a hunt, find food, visit their pups, etc. And when they are injured, pups leave the den, pup is sick, mate dies, etc, the wolf can seem more distraught, sad, or worried looking. Don't get me wrong, I love WQ and I appreciate the developers so much. And I'm not trying to take away from the game's realism. I just feel like there's room for improvement and I would feel a lot more emotionally connected and invested in my game if the wolves felt a little more alive, does anyone else agree? Two well done examples of this done successfully in my opinion would be the wolves in Eco La Brea as well as the Wolf Avatar in Second Life. I absolutely adore the Second Life Wolf Avatar and the way it can express emotion.
