It's because even if you think Shaq is better, it's close enough that no one should have an issue with someone thinking one is better than the other. It's more about personal preference at that point. Hakeem was more well rounded, but Shaq to me was so much better offensively (I don't care about bag, I care about efficiency, which Shaq kills Hakeem there) that it outweighs the other areas Hakeem was better in. Wilt I can even give a pass because of the gawdy numbers (I have Shaq higher, but I can at least understand why people have Wilt higher). Duncan is definitely more a power forward than a center. It's like calling AD a center lol. They're power forwards that play the 5 due to matchups. You ain't moving Kareem or Shaq to the 4 no matter who is alongside them. Then the Moses take was absurd. And if he was actually as big or just as strong as Shaq, he’d probably be actually the greatest center of all time and possibly would’ve won more chips tbh.
