If you want to see multiple people's screen next to each other, all presenters should download and install OBS, add the screen as camera source, start virtual camera and under the video tab of zoom choose OBS camera.

Thank you. Very helpful. For some reason I do not have a the 'Multiple participants can share simultaneously' option when I click on the arrow next to the green Share Screen tab. Can you give me a clue to what I am not doing correctly? I have Zoom latest update.

Are you the host? Only the host can change that setting.

@@BenFinio Thanks for your reply. I am the host. I have a paid Zoom account. When I click the Share Screen arrow the options panel shows 2 options: Who can share? Only Host / All Participants. Who can start sharing when someone else is sharing? Only Host / All Participants. The panel background is light whereas your panel background is dark. I have contacted Zoom.us but as yet not had a reply.

@@antoonmeerman to clarify - when you first click the little up arrow next to share screen, do you NOT see the three options that are displayed in the video above at 0:53? I get an option for "one participant can share at a time" vs "multiple participants can share simultaneously," then a third link for "Advanced Sharing Options." If I click to open that then it brings a pop up window with the options you described. It seems like you might be jumping right to that and missing the first step.

@@BenFinio Hello, and thanks for your reply. I did not see the three options that are on your screen, but since yesterday I now do. Zoom seems to have connected with my request, so I now have the same window as yours. I tried it briefly but I couldn't get to see other shared screens. That's okay though. Hi Ben, may I kindly ask, if we use Zoom that is not license, and going to join in a License Host Account, do the multiple screen sharing will work even I am using a dual monitor? Thanks in advance.

Hi - I am not entirely sure what you mean by "Zoom that is not license" - do you mean a free personal account instead of a paid pro account? As far as I know, multiple screen sharing will still work either way.

Thanks for sharing. I'm a Linux user (Ubuntu 20.04) and I do not have the option to simultaneously share my screen while viewing another participants shared screen. Do you know if this will ever be supported on Linux? Or maybe it is already supported but not on Ubuntu?

Cooo vid, i'm having an issue tho, this works great on my computer, on my coworker's when he clicks the upper arrow on the share screen option it automatically oones the advance sharing options instead of showing the multiple screen share option

Is it possible to have a shared screen show up the same way the webcam does? For instance, is it possible for one of the meeting participants to share their screen and it just shows up in their little square (where the video feed normally is) instead of showing up in a separate window or in the background?

Hi Ryan - as far as I know that isn't possible. The only exception would be if you need to share a single, static slide. Then you could have someone log in to the meeting on an extra computer, set that image as their profile picture, and turn their video off. Or set it as their virtual background and make sure they stay out of the camera view. Then the image would appear as a regular thumbnail alongside everyone's videos.

Using multiple screens. My laptop and another monitor... I would like my zoom laptop camera to pick up just me and the whiteboard in front of it for the students to view. BUT I would like to see the students on the monitor. Is this possible to do?

I tutor on Zoom using my Hp laptop. I share my I-pad and can do fine doing that. I take screen shots or pictures of worksheets and simple games to reinforce a topic. I can share them through my I pad from gallery/ photo library. I also have an app with dice I create to go with the games. I would like to share the picture of the gameboard and the dice app at the same time, so the student and I can play the game seeing the board on the screen and next to that they can see the dice app roll the die. How do I do that? I want a game board on the screen and see the app roll the dice at the same time - thank you for your help.

Hi Ben, I tried the dual screen mode. I could see the (me no. 2) others sharing and I can share mine (me no. 1) as well. However, I could not see both Me no. 1 and 2 on my third computer's screen. Is it possible to see both me no. 1 and 2 on my third computer screen? I was share different powerpoints on both me no. 1 and 2. The reason for this is because, people would be able to work together on different languages at the same time. For example, my screen is showing the English text and my students are working on Chinese text. Thanks.

Hi - if your third computer only has one monitor, then I believe you will only be able to see one shared screen at once, and you will have to toggle back and forth. To see two screens at once you need two monitors.

I have two screens. The problem I have is that when I use PowerPoint to create a video, I cannot see what the viewer sees. If I have not shared the correct screen,Ii don't even know it until looking at the recording. I think I was showing PowerPoint on screen 2, but actually I was only showing screen one. Any suggestions?

A couple suggestions: 1) use the option to share a specific program or window instead of sharing your entire screen. These videos may help with that: kzbin.info/www/bejne/nWHdY5yVg8Zmi9E kzbin.info/www/bejne/g3rXnad8r5d-opY. 2) If you want to be absolutely sure what your participants are seeing and you have a second device (laptop/tablet/phone) available, log in to the meeting on that as a regular participant. I show a setup like that in this video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/hnLEapWLjLismZY 3) This is not really a Zoom thing, but in Powerpoint you can control which monitor the presentation will appear on. On Windows go to the Slide Show tab and there's a drop down menu to select the monitor (not sure about Mac).

Hello, quick question. If both participants are sharing can they see eachother's screen or only the host? Let's say I want them to do an online test and be able to see what they are doing but obviously I don't want them to see eachother screen. Is there an option for them to share their screens only with the host? Thank you

Hi Jose - to the best of my knowledge, if you share your screen then you share it with everyone in the meeting. I think you could do this if you use breakout rooms though. You would have to put each student in their own breakout rooms, and then you would have to hop between the rooms. So it's not ideal since you would not be able to see both screens simultaneously, but it would prevent the students from seeing each other's screens. I don't think you can see a gallery view of all shared screens at once, you can only see at most two screens if you have dual monitors. However, this video is over a year old so I'm not sure if that's changed.

If you're using Dual Monitor, and you share your own screen, does that mean you still cannot use one of the Audience's shared screen as the main screen for everyone to see?

I believe you can spotlight the participant's screen but honestly it's been almost two years since I made this video, so I can't quite remember! The best way to find out is to test it yourself.

I believe it will follow the rules for single or dual-monitor recording, depending on which shared screen(s) the person doing the recording is viewing. Dual monitors might be a little weird (it probably won't record both). If you search my channel I have "what gets recorded in zoom?" videos for both single and dual monitors.

I'm not sure if this feature is available on iPads, but I'd make sure you're updated to the latest version of the app. You also might be in a meeting where the host does not have the setting enabled.

Hi - as of now I don't think it's possible to see all their screens at once, you would need third-party proctoring software to do this.

As the host, click the little up arrow next to share screen at the bottom, and there should be a setting for "multiple participants can share simultaneously" that you can enable.
