Great video and I look forward to the widespread anticipation of rejuvenation biotechnology that Aubrey thinks is likely to happen soon.

Start your own rejuvenation by using trace mineral supplements.
@quinnsmith84214 жыл бұрын
@@tangobayus Thanks for the suggestion, but I'm nowhere near old enough to benefit from rejuvenation therapies, so I wouldn't use them yet even if they were robust enough. I also don't recommend taking supplements for most problems because they aren't actual medicine; the industry is thankfully moving past supplements in favor of therapies that will be available in hospitals.

@@quinnsmith8421 I'm 73 and have no cancer, no diabetes, no heart disease. Most people guess my age to be at least 5 years younger than I am. I've been using nutrition and supplements to maintain my health ever since I used them to recover from early rheumatoid arthritis in my late 20's. I only started using trace mineral supplements a few months ago and I feel more alive than I have in years. My view is that if something I take in is not a nutrient then it is a poison. Almost everything that comes out of pharma and biotech is a poison. What I can tell you at this point is that the sooner you start taking care of yourself the better off you will be later. Minimizing or eliminating alcohol is one of the most obvious things you can do for your health.

@@tangobayus I'm glad you're feeling better nowadays. I also don't drink alcohol.

Affectively what he saying is, improving the quality of life (with SENS) in later life. the side effects leads to longer longevity.

A lot of degenerative disease is caused by a combination of toxic inputs and nutrient deficiencies. Toxins range from alcohol to food additives to pharmaceuticals. Deficiencies are in areas such as the 60 minerals the human bodies need to be healthy. One very important mineral is selenium, which is used to build an amino acid. If you don't get enough you are by definition creating abnormal cells- cancer. Trying to tweak the metabolism with chemicals that are not nutrients is bound to fail. Allopathic medicine is intellectually bankrupt. None of the interventions he proposes at 10:31 will work if people continue to take in toxins and don't get proper nutrition. The best way to deal with this extremely complicated metabolism is to put the right things in the mouth and let the system act to produce better health and longevity.

To learn more about how much progress is happening in this space and to also keep track of how close different therapies are from entering into clinical trials, I recommend reading this roadmap: www.lifespan.io/road-maps/the-rejuvenation-roadmap/
