SharePoint Document Sets, Document Set View and SharePoint Premium

Many thanks Dan! I have a document library of a few thousand documents which have been referenced in other docs as links. If I create a document set for each of my projects will save me alot of time assigning metadata. But will the document set will break any of the links links to the docs?

Where did you drag and drop files? Also, what is the workaround to go back retrospectively to copy property values?

I followed you on my site until you got to the Add content types. 1:30 My screen does not show an Add Default Document set. Do you have any idea why this should be different? It shows a pull down menu of "groups" which does include a Document Content Type but only allows me to add various elements of the D.C.T rather than a group itself. So I cannot choose to add a Document Set when I am in the Document Library and want to Add New. Any ideas why this is not as explained?

Have you got the Document Set Feature enabled? It needs to be enabled at the Site collection level. Document Sets are a feature that needs to be enabled. I will create a video showing....

Going at lightning speed through a whole series create functions. Jumping from Document Set to Document, to Document View, to Site Columns and back and forth multiple times. Got completely lost and gave up close to the end of this video. At no point do you explain what these document sets can be used for. Extremely valuable information that should be given before you demonstrate the "how to". What is the practical application of document sets? What are the benefits? Are there any drawbacks? Start with a use case and build your demo on that. What are content types and if you have explained these in a previous video then refer to it so ,viewers can find out how these work as well. Etc. etc. However, the most important function; how/where to activate this Document Set feature on the site collection level is not demonstrated!?!?!?
