Investment of Rs 11440 in 10.4% shares=Rs 143 From the given above statement, We have Income on Rs 104 shares = 6% n Rs 10400 = 6 x 104 =624 Income on Rs 104 shares=Rs 624 Income on Rs 143 shares = 10.4% n Rs 11440 = 11897.6/10 =1189.76 Income on Rs 143 shares =Rs 1189.76 Therefore total income = [Income on Rs 104 +Income on Rs 143] =Rs 624 + Rs 1189.76 =Rs 1813.76 Hence a man gets a total income of Rs 1813.76
