Love the clips so far and really looking forward to seeing the film, however, I have to point to an historical inaccuracy regarding the 65 Newport appearance, Bob did not travel there on his bike, he and some others flew there in a plane chartered by Al Grossman, it was that return flight that the sunburst Fender guitar was left on the plane and held by the pilot who rang Grossman to come and collect it, Grossman never did. The guitar was auctioned on behalf of the now deceased pilot's daughter about 12 years ago for around $1million.

It's December 26, I saw it yesterday. I liked it, it was very good, I enjoyed the whole thing. The guy playing Dylan was excellent, very convincing--I was sold. To me, the best thing about it was that it was like watching an actual Dylan concert performance, and the songs of the movie's Dylan era happen to be some of my personal faves. I can easily recommend it to anybody who likes Dylan, not just hard-core fans. I have to give most of the credit to the main guy. His job of portraying Dylan is somewhere on a par with the guy that did Elvis a few years ago--I thought that guy was incredible. It was something like that, same league. The girl singing Joan Baez didn't get as close. I can't think of ANYBODY who could do an accurate job of reproducing Baez's incredible voice. She was still pretty good though.

Is there a Patti Smith in this movie, or is it just very very early

should be titled "A Complete Revision".

Bandmates, friends, girlfriends, historians, biographies, audience members, and ***Dylan himself*** were all involved in writing the script. The writers spent a lot of time with Dylan while writing it. All of these sources except for Dylan have come out to say the movie was exceedingly accurate, and forgave the alterations made to keep the pace and plot of the film moving. So, as far as I can tell, this is a baseless comment.

That dude looks nothing like Johnny Cash 😂😂. Looks like Dennis Quaid got drunk and dyed his hair black.

I haven’t seen the film so I can’t say. But if I were to guess, I’d say they were going more for an expression of the character of Cash. Rather than a strict impression

Neither the actor playing Cash or the one playing Dylan have the voice to do justice to their roles. Fuck. I was hoping to go see it this week. Won't bother.

@@CleetoMange I love Dylan, but come on! It sounds like he sings through his nose, and almost anyone who covers him sounds better than Dylan. He was a wordsmith, and a song writer, but not really a singer.

It's funny how the bandmates and engineers who worked with him during this time were amazed by it. The song in the trailer is spruced up for the trailer. The film's music is not like that
