Saw this film on opening day. 66 year man here; cried when the story was sad and again when he triumphed. It's a great story told in a great way. Well done!

I knew he was in it and he’s always great in whatever character he plays, but I had forgotten that he was in it and didn’t even recognise him as Seeger. I just thought the actor playing Seeger looked vaguely familiar.

This movie was nothing short of amazing. I am a songwriter and perform down in the West village for years and knowing that Dylan started there is always an inspiration. Tim really plays his character well. his voice is close to Dylan but better. It really helps showcase the songwriting of Dylan in the times where it was so pure. Bravo to all that worked on this movie. WOW thank yoU!

I liked that Seeger and Dylan are portrayed as being in opposite camps at the end of the movie but neither are portrayed cartoonishly as the bad guy. It was much more nuanced.

Just saw A Complete Unknown yesterday on Christmas. I’m a huge Dylan fan. I was a little girl when he was getting started. My mom told me a lot about Bob Dylan, my mom was 25 when he came on the scene, I remember knowing that he wrote Puff The Magic Dragon, Blowing In The Wind and Tambourine Man, though others made them popular, but I really love Tom Thumbs Blues, Girl From The North Country, Like A Rolling Stone. My best friend and I went to see Don’t Look Back, when we were 16, it was such an Experience. I hated how he treated Joan in the UK, but that’s Dylan, he’s a genius, as Joan sang in Diamonds and Rust, “You burst on the scene, the unknown vagabond, the unwashed phenomenon, heading straight for my heart”. Timothée deserves an Oscar, a Grammy, though the his portrayal of Paul Atreides in Dune 2 was fantastic too.

I’m a 65 year old Midwestern man. Have always loved music. Been a Neil Young fan since 72. I’ve always been a fan of the ground breakers. From the first trailers I saw ,been looking forward to this movie. I wish I could properly describe the feelings I got when that first bar of Like a Rolling Stone on the organ started. The hair on my neck stood up. It was so perfect. I want so bad for the world to love this movie as much as I did. I want it for Timothee, I want it for Pete Seeger, I want it mostly for Bob, even though I’m sure he doesn’t really care. This was such a period in time, with a genius just getting started on his way. Embrace the memories.

Timothee Chalamet is pure talent and a remarkable human being. Seeing many of his movies and each one he gets more professional, centered and damn great. Seems we are all born with talent and yet when someone like this works and works hard and then harder, the talent just seeps from his veins. Look forward to the movie!

"$35 pays your rent on Bleeker Street" - Bleeker Street from the 1964 Simon & Garfunkel album, Wednesday Morning, 3AM. What's become of the Village is a shame. Bob Dylan, his music, the people who moved in and out of his life, the zeitgeist and the Village as I remember it as a teen, I haven't seen this movie yet but there is no doubt in my mind that I'm going to love seeing the recreation of that time and place.

Very well done..! Me 67 like it so much that a group of people took the effort to make this movie! Since there was little or nothing to see during the 60's and '70s especially when one lives in Europe! Btw love all the instruments/mikes & esp. '30s Martin 00-45! And that chair in their appartement. And at min. 12,26 a fabulous '65 Plymouth Valiant Signet Convertible..

One important person from those years who is missing is Ramblin' Jack Elliott, who helped Dylan get started in the coffee house scene in Greenwich Village. Jack, who was known as "the Brooklyn Cowboy," recreated himself in the image and voice of Woody Guthrie and Bob started out in his folk career the same way. I believe they had a falling out at some point and wonder if that's why Jack was not even mentioned in the movie. He would have been a great addition.

Great movie. First one I've ever seen that actually looks and feels like the 60s I remember. Not once did anyone say, "Far out!" like most films. Clichés. The 60s weren't a cliché. They were alive. With people who were alive. This film showed that.
