BOY this takes me back - I spent a lot of years working in very similar environments, in Quality Control, Equipment Repair, Systems Testing, and Documentation. Don't cross the yellow lines without the right equipment and credentials! Seriously, as someone who's done this, I think they have a very modern, functional approach to manufacturing and testing. Not that many companies pressure test 100 percent of their product for an extended period of time. That's not even mentioning the field work. Headhunter is doing things right!

First time I stumbled on you guys was the video where you had to put your yacht in dry dock because there was a 99 cent fitting used instead of a quality product. Then one of your tours with Bering popped up in my feed where Alexi talked about using proper piping instead of tubing for plumbing. I'm a plumber/fitter/boiler tech by trade and understand this sort of quality doesn't come cheap. But I also understand that cutting costs by using inferior products in the mechanical components of a home will end up costing more in the long run. Sometimes much, much more. I can only imagine how much worse that could possibly be if you're bobbing around in the middle of the ocean. You must invest in reliability and longevity if you want your investment to last. Right? And the same thing applies in the RV industry - I've helped quite a few friends get their RVs plumbing sorted and can't believe the complete garbage they charge good money for. It's appallingly if you ask me. All that aside I'm probably one of the handful that enjoyed this series of vids. I suppose that's a side effect of being a turd herder who doesn't mind the work. :)

The bit about Hot Tubs reminded me of something i saw a long time ago. Some millionaire wanted a Hot Tub on his flybridge, but the yacht wasn't quite big enough to have it always full, all the time. But the owner still wanted to be able to use it at a moments notice without needing to wait for it to fill. So he had a heated holding tank put in down low that would constantly filter the water and maintain the right temperature and when he wanted to use the tub an air bladder would be pressurized to force the water up out of the holding tank through some 4 inch drain lines. The water flowed though a patterned grating that covered the entire floor. Took about a minute to go from empty to full and would drain just as fast. Probably way to late to integrate something like this into your yacht, but its an interesting idea and these are the guys who would likely have a system perfect for making it work.

Rico, 1 bar is roughly 1 kg/cm2 of force. 1 mt in height adds 100 grams/cm2 so, to get water 10 mt above the pump you would need a little more than 1 bar (or beat that extra kg/cm2 weight basically)
