It's by Dream Theater off the album Images and Words. This was one of their earlier albums. They've gone very hard and heavy and mathematical since then. I love watching your reactions and seeing you react to music that others and myself share and love, and I think how profound it is how music opens us up to so many things, but it’s nice to see and hear songs that mean something to you as well. Seeing as you like Coldplay, may I recommend The Killers? I think you’d really enjoy them! The lead singer has an amazing voice and they are a talented band. Their performance of When You Were Young at the Royal Albert Hall is fantastic and the crowds energy is incredible, definitely worth a watch!

I am bipolar and when the black clouds suck me in, music is my only solace - I need it to been able to break through the darkness and see a glimmer of light. My muse is Amy Winehouse....that raw emotion and her voice, I just immerse myself in it. Also, The Smiths/Morrissey - got me through a very troubled adolescence. I still adore Morrissey (seen him in concert 23 times!) - he is an amazing lyricist, as was Amy - and she was SOOO young....but had an incredible insight that she channelled through her lyrics and music - I miss her💔 may she R.I.P. 😢 i love Radiohead - Street Spirit is hauntingly mesmerising and 'Creep' is just so REAL!. Adele - who I've seen in concert - she is beyond incredible - her voice just brings your emotions to the surface.....'Someone Like You' reminds me of 'the one that got away' - I was so heartbroken - I cried when she sang it in concert - the whole audience did. Music has literally saved my life. I have to keep telling myself to take it a day at a time, but i couldn't do it without my music - I've been that way since I was a child. I spent my pocket money on a single every week. Now I'm older, I seek out songs that are relatable and touch my soul. Thank you for sharing your story with us #Jayy I am so glad you are in a better place now. Keep being strong! We love you even though you don't know us - we relate to YOU! Never forget that.
