With the vinyl use your walking foot. With the tweed serge the edges immediately after cutting. If don’t have a serger stitch along the edge with a zigzag stitch to keep the tweed in place.

THANK YOU FOR THE TIPS!! I am seriously nervous about tackling those fabrics. I don't have a walking foot yet, but I have heard good things. I guess it's time to invest.

Let's get it in 2025! I like that you are pairing your patterns with fabric in your stash. I have the following patterns planned to sew this year: Butterick 6933, and Butterick 7012. The reason why you are missing a fabric is because of the Free space. That is one that you choose to do or not... it is free!!! That's why I cracked up. Your math is mathing. Let's have fun!
